  • Not sure about pods included though but also available here.

Free postage for orders over $70 So you'd have to purchase 4 packs of pods to make it worthwhile.

These are the ones that are used by the Peppers Resort chain.

Ah, the old razor/blade business model, as perfected in inkjet printers.

Vittoria beans sell for about $20/kg if you stock up on the regular specials.
    Capsules $100/kg. (Same as Nespresso - you'd think they'd undercut a little.)
So one double-shot per day, $500/year in capsules vs $100 for the beans.
A couple of hours in time saved.

Maybe buy one for the in-laws, so I don't have to drink instant when we visit :)

Is it possible to make my own pods?

      • Yes, there are a few companies selling refillable pods

        We bought these ones.

The missus still buys the pods for the convenience factor.

        • cool, but where can I find something like that for my new Dolce Gusto Genio (from that recent Target deal)??

Is it possible to make my own pods?

Sure, but you'll want a machine to do it, or it defeats the purpose of this device - ie convenience.

        Here is one:

I'm still waiting for a consumer version, that will grind and package 1kg of beans at a time.
