wow really?? That sucks :( What to do if the one you want to buy is $120…

Great if you already needed to buy a few cases of wine and (I'd go for the Peter Lehmann Layers 2011 myself as a starter). My cart was 12c short of the minimum (almost seemed too convenient to be true!), so I'm going to pass this time. Not wrapped with their selections of wine these days.

    • I know it's often mentioned here, but I wasn't a big fan of the Layers. It was much better after a few hours in the decanter but still a bit sharp for my liking.

      • Agreed, you want to let it breathe. I've not bothered with the 2011, but the 2010 is good if you know what you're doing with it (I still prefer Clancys myself).

    • Not wrapped with their selections of wine these days.

Does good wine make you roll yourself in cling-film?
I think you mean rapt. :-)

      • lol, step 1. unwrap cling film flatly on the ground; step 2. pour wine over it (the more the better); step 3. lie on it; step 4. get someone to wrap you up! TOTALLY WRAPPED. :)

  • Anyone know any good deals that actually include cider??

  • Thanks! I needed to pick up some more Layers! Hopefully the 2011 is as good as the 2010 :)

Winemarket have really gone down recently in my opinion. Many other websites now do what they used to.

The standard of wine they offer has gone down, probably due to the other websites getting the decent parcels of wine the vineyards want to clear.

They ripped me off pretty badly recently too, and I had been a customer for a long time.

Good discount tho OP, if you can find a wine you want for the required price.

  • Thanks fmckenzie, ordered the wolf blass presidents cab shiraz for 88 delivered. Cheers!

  • A dozen Wynns 2012 shiraz delivered for $106 (DM would be $167 + delivery). Thanks fmckenzie.

  • I ended up ordering the mystery Adelaide hills 2012 Pinot noir, which I think is

$127.01 delivered so not super cheap (and a bit of a gamble) . Fingers crossed I am correct.

If it's the same Adelaide Hills mystery pinot they had 4 or 5 months ago it is the Heirloom. I bought a case then. I don't think it would have changed

    • I've previously bought the mystery Adelaide Hills Pinot and it was the Heirloom Adelaide Pinot as expected. It was quite a nice wine for the money. I'd buy another case with this offer if I had storage space.

  • Thinking of the Chateau Tanunda Three Graces Barossa 2012 for $85 delivered. Anyone tried this one? Reviews seem good and its got a few medals and 90 Halliday points.
