    All I see is advertisement.

We have no idea how much true savings is as we have no price comparison. Don't know if the savings is worth having to buy 12 bottles.

    • -6

I guess the degree of savings doesnt matter. It's more whether it's worth paying $11.4 per bottle for a 3x gold medal wine. :)

you sure you're not here just for the referrals?

        • +1

I bought a case, HOPING it'll be nice & sharing the deal here. Yes, referral would be nice, no denying, and there's a random link there for everyone to click on. So why the hate?

        • +2

no hate, just asking where the deal is? You just admitted that you are HOPING that it'll be nice.

Look at the post from DrAlco at the bottom. Someone in the past had already looked up the wine and with that you can search price comparisons to decide whether or not it is worth buying 12 bottles. There were previous deals from vinomofo that had bottles that were only $2 cheaper than Dan Murphys… for those cases it may be a better choice to head to DM to try one bottle before you buy 12 bottles.

If you can prove that this is a good deal then you'll get upvotes. Otherwise this is just advertising.

You're on OZbargain. Are you sure you want to start with "I guess the degree of savings doesn't matter"??? Lol. The whole point of us being here is savings. Maybe I could be paying $5 for that bottle of 3x gold medal wine instead of $11.40? How would we know?

  • No idea could be a crap wine

You're more likely to get up-votes if you put a little detective work into these deals.

This wine is most likely the 2011 Sandpiper Shiraz from Thorn-Clarke:

Awards, alcohol %, price etc match up quite nicely with the given clues.

I avoid most SA reds from 2011 (a generally acknowledged poor vintage) and my experiences with the 2011s I've had didn't change that opinion. I'll pass on this one too.

    • Agree with avoiding the 2011 SA reds. I recently tried the 2011 Schild Estate shiraz (another recent vinomofo offering). It's incredibly jammy and sweet and is in my opinion far inferior to previous vintages.

Awards mean nothing. $2 Aldi wine has awards for crying out loud!

The $2 Aldi wine was great value for money and I considered submitting it as a bargain.

  • Is someone able to enlighten me as to why the massive increase in Vinomofo deals on OZB recently? There are heaps of companies that have been offering hidden label wines for years. As with everything, it pays to do your homework, some offer better value than others, even without a referral code.

  • Does it say what the gold medals are for? It could be gold medal at the local Nambour show, I have seen that before.

Is this your first post or has it been 6 weeks since your first post? Users with a L or red P/ green P next to their name on deal posts are not allowed to post referral links or codes.

Moreover, we do not want to encourage people sharing low quality deals just for the sake of earning affiliation commissions.

Taken straight out of the rules and guideline.

You are not allow to post referral link if you are new. You were warn in your last post and you did it again.

    • I see no referral from the OP in their deal content. The grey box with referral links is SYSTEM GENERATED and outside his/her control. Was this edited with no "revisions" history?
