  • $30 OFF FIRST RIDE, not 30 Credit, expires 1 May.

  • Thanks for the post - just signed up and $30 off first ride still working

    • did you sign-up using a referral link to also receive $10 referral credit?

  • Something stuffed up and the $30 didn't work for me, it says i've already claimed the promotion. Probably because I used the referral code. Not sure.. but yeah I only got the $10 from referral. :(

    • Wait, no it says 'a new user promotion has already been applied to your account' thats probably why, I'm assuming you can only use the $30 and not the $30 + the referral.

  • just signup, thx

  • +2

Heard some gorilla from the Taxi Council NSW being interviewed on talkback radio the other night about this; he was the most aggressive and irritating bloke you've ever heard. Carrying on about the rigorous checks that taxi drivers have to go through and how the public could be travelling in dangerous and hazardous private vehicles.

What a joke - the only time I fear for my life in a car is when I am being driven in a beaten up crap taxi (which most of them in Sydney and Melbourne ARE) by a clueless driver that stinks of B.O. pong.

No doubt the CabCharge/Taxi Council thugs will 'monster' the government into outlawing Uber.

  • 100% agree

  • Referral codes cannot be stacked with new offer codes any more.

    • thanks for confirmation - deal updated :)
