nice. shame its not valid down here…. ohh and the fact that I don't go to QLD much either! :)

although with flight prices in this day and age, its almost worth flying up a few times a year for the day!

    • Good idea wisc, Check out OzBargains other posts (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/14671) for cheap flights or use TravelZoo. They offer excellent flight deals (four diffrent cities could fly to melbourne for about $39 I think, this is just an example deal!)

BTW, don't forget to vote positive!

That is an amazing deal and I don't understand why they don't extend this offer to other locations. I suppose they know that people who travel to the theme park belt will pay whatever is charge, I just spent nearly $200 for 2 adults and a chile for a single day at Sea World and that was with the NRMA discount! It's robbery compared to the deals they offer local residents.

Its simple business. You guys come to the gold coast to come to the theme parks… I have lived here all my life… if they want me to go, it better be cheap!!!

    A great deal!

SHiiitt!! that is cheap!!!! AND its over summer (well not half dec and jan, but remember summer in qld is like Sept to Mar!)

I have never seen such a deal over summer.

Last year our summer was (35+) was Feb, that was it.

This is a great deal. UNLIMITTED!!!!!!!!!! …. last month we got unlimited entry to Dreamworld for $30 but that is for 1 month. This is 1 year.

So I am curious… if you have a ticket bought by someone in qld, and you are from, say, melbourne… do they check your postcode at the gate?

P.S. I am from Brissie so it's not for me.

    • AntMan - Usually they check your licence and as the ticket is purchased online or over the phone, they would check your licence before entry. You might get away with it but $99 (plus other's entries) is a big risk to take…

When we went to Dreamworld the first time, they checked our id. We were given a card to sign everytime we enter. They never checked our ID's after the first time. So in theory if we did a simple signature, somebody could pretend they are us and just sign.

We did that with the $30 qld 150th bday pass.

Bought 5 and used them for a week with my family then gave them to my mates.

          Never checked our id.

They had a similar offer for the first 6 months of this year for the Q150 celebrations, $79, or $49 for children & pensioners. I really wanted to get it but i broke my wrist so i missed out. Cool they've got it back and even better value.
It's funny hearing people talking about flying up to go, cause i'm concerned about the cost of driving down and back from Brisbane, cause with petrol costs these days, it's like $20-$30 each time i go (on top of the $99 fee). :p

  • For those interested. I bought this pass and you go in and to get your pass you have to fill out a form and show id and they make you up a photo id pass that you have to show each time. So many people got this. On the day I went the line up for the passes was constant all day. They must have sold thousands of these passes!
