    • That's a bit mean. The logic follows here that even if all the teams rotated grand final wins, they'd still be waiting longer than 16 years for their turn to come around. Now, 16 years of not making the finals, that'd be a reason to consider switching your team.

  • Thanks!

Batman with figurines is also included in buy one get one free at that price

I'm starting to believe that I have super powers. When ever I decide to buy some Blurays the JB 20% off starts 1-2 days after I buy them !!!!

3rd time in a row this has happened.

    • +12

This would be the opposite of super powers

  • Does anyone know if the 25% off voucher from buying an iPad stacks with the 20% off?

    • I tried that last time and it didn't. Let us know how you go - hope it does! :)

  • +1

doesn't seem to have 2 for $20 or $30 blu ray to stack onto this deal

    • No longer offering that. Not much in those type of deals ATM.

      • looks like the old buy 1 get 1 free is the only one going, the bar has already been set for me only paying $10-20 for a blu ray at the most

  • Thank you

  • damn frozen (blu ray) was 25 on the weekend. was hoping for 20% off that! yes im cheap

    • $25? really? was this for 3D?

I'm after Frozen 3D, Gravity 3D, Desolation of Smaug 3D

      • Frozen 3D was $30 on the weekend but now it's $32 online…

  • There were some price increases just applied. Looks like I just got my order through in time, hope it's honoured.

  • edit: Did not realise price already includes discount. my deals were not that good.

  • They currently have a sale on Godzilla boxsets on DVD, as well. So if you want to catch up on your Big G collection before the new movie hits in a week or two now's your chance. Just over $18 each per boxset:

Thanks for the heads up! Definitely will be getting the boxsets I'm missing!

  • alas it doesnt apply to all titles.
the tv shows i wanted are still the exact same price as before the "20% off"

    • I found the same thing; yet the promo only says "exclude Pre-Orders and Factory Scoops".

I don't think the discount is being applied correctly.

    • the tv shows i wanted are still the exact same price as before the "20% off"

      Which ones?

      • some cartoons like regular show and adventure time.
was looking to use up some gift cards a few days ago on them, but was waiting for a sale.
well the sale is here now, but the prices are the same.

      • Alot of anime for instance.

      • I was looking at Russel Coight. Dvd was $18.99 before the sale and is still $18.99 during.

      • FIXED - I sent an email to JB HIFI ONLINE (Via their website inquiry form) including a link to my item. JB updated the item to get the 20% discount and then sent me the link back again.

My DVD is now on its way.

Just bought Dark Knight Rises and Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. Love a fresh christmas movie to watch each year, this one should be solid. Last year the wife had us watch Arthur Christmas… >_>

  • I was just in store and got a $35 tv series for $28 but check out is still showing $35. Maybe hasnt been appled to everything just yet

I prefer buying a physical copy mainly because online rips (most of the time) do not provide the same quality. In addition, it's nice to own a shiny disc and cover art than to read a list of titles on windows explorer. :)

      • -1

Hirokuro. Obviously no looking at the right rips. But I buy the physical copy for the extras not the movie itself

  • Went in-store and Frozen 3D was single 3D bluray only, not 3D+2D+Digital like the one on the website. What gives?

  • -6

The DVD and bluray are finished,,,,

    • What do you mean?

      • he probably mean he can get it for free from some sites.

        • I know that streaming sites are having a big impact on sales of optical media. Sony says that “demand for physical media is contracting faster than anticipated,” especially in Europe. This does not bode well for the future of the Blu-ray format. Nor will it encourage others to invest in future optical formats for higher resolution video, like the upcoming 4k format. This will make distribution of ultra high definition video a tough nut to crack, as bandwidth restrictions and caps on downloading will discourage online delivery, and the consumer’s growing disdain for optical media undermines any confidence in yet another optical disc format.

  • Meh. he 20% off is good, but the combination deals are very limited in selection, might hold off for now.

I did notice they put Mass Effect: Paragon Lost up from $10 to $33 a couple of weeks ago though…

  • I wonder if this stacks with the Exclusive 20% off Voucher they sent me on Monday…

    • My exclusive 20% off on Monday was for CDs

      • Ah, so is mine.

I have just noticed they jacked up the price on a couple of items I had in my cart this morning while I was thinking about making a purchase.

    Happy Feet 2 3D went from $15.98 to $19.98
Pacific Rim 3D went from $19.98 to $23.98

    Very sneaky JB!

    • doing the old "dick smith" on us

    • Actually Happy feet 2 3d was $24.98 on the 6th of may says google cache, so it did go down

      • It is confusing, but there are two versions of Happy Feet 3D listed. The one I had in my cart started at $15.98 yesterday morning.

Edit: For anyone watching the prices, Pacific Rim has returned to $19.98 and a few others have been reduced (again).

  • Not happy as I used two $20 gift cards on my online order and when I confirmed my order it said I would be charged only $16 but I have just checked my credit card and been charged $36. So it applied only one gift card. Anyone else had this happen?

  • For anyone else who is not seeing a 20% discount in their price (the item should show as "Special price") - I sent an email to JB HIFI with my link. JB then send me an email back saying that they had now applied the discount to my item.

  • Love these 20% off deals!!!

  • I ordered the LE of Dark Knight Rises & Man of Steel, plus the Triple Play/Soundtrack Edition of Project X. Both LE's were correct however they only sent the standard/single disc edition of Project X.

  • Thanks OP :)
