      If only it had windows support. Got it in a bundle and can't get past the start menu on my Windows 8.1 computer. It used games for windows live which is shutting down.

        There is instructions on the Steam support page on how to get it to work on Windows 8

        I tried a lot of steam methods including installing the xbox live/windows live under different compatibility methods. I think they even struggled to install. I'll try again this weekend.

        Are you talking MK9 or Arcade Kollection?

        I had nothing but drama with the arcade kollection. Couldn't even play a round with it on windows 8.1 and it would freeze or wouldn't let me hit start to start a game.

        MK9 I had no dramas with at all. Only thing is the cut scenes in the story mode are fairly low res but there are torrents out there to download the versions of the cut scenes that were on PS3 and you can just overwrite the files in the game directory and it makes them high res.

        MK9 is awesome. Online mode is hit and miss. It's good when you find a decent game/player to play against who doesn't quit when they are about to lose.

        You're right, I'm am talking about Arcade Kollection. Glad to see I wasn't the only one having issues with it.

        I would consider getting AoE3 though, I thought it was good fun.

        Yeah sorry, I didn't realise it's MK9 on Humble

        I was talking about the arcade collection, I got it in another bundle for Steam and I managed to get it working with a GFWL patch that was posted on the steam page, something about the one packaged with the game is the wrong version.

        I'm just glad I got the arcade kollection in a humble bundle to be honest. Every game that is in it I can play with mame anyway.
