Buy 3 Listerine products from Woolworths - receive $50 Cashback on Dental services

211

Says $50 cashback from Dentist visit however it says send in receipt and cashback form - I assume they mean the Woolworths receipt so not sure how the Dentist part fits in.

Buy REACH floss (45 metres $2.49) and toothbrush ($3.99) plus Listerine mouthwash (1 litre $9.49), send in receipt and claim form to get $50 cash back voucher.

(Mod Foundit - See T Man's comments, or better stlll, double check the terms and conditions for yourself)

As seen in Woolworths catalogue page 7

    • Gave this comment a + because it must have taken you a week to type it all up!

its not cashback. its dentist cash back. misleading title.

  • very complex cashback. good deal.

  • Wow, I wonder if this can be used at any dentist and can you have any work done? I've got an appointment for a clean in two weeks - this may be useful. By what was posted, it sounds like this is done in two stages?

1- To receive a “$50 Dentist Cash Back” voucher, fully complete the original official claim form available in Woolworths/Safeway stores, and attach a photocopy of your Woolworths/Safeway store receipt from the
Qualifying Transaction and send together to: “$50 Dentist Cash Back” Promotion, PO Box 333 Robina Queensland 4226.

2- To claim the $50 cash back reward, the individual must then send a copy of the receipt from their dentist consultation along with their “$50 Dentist Cash Back” voucher to: “$50 Dentist Cash Back” Promotion, PO Box 333 Robina
    Queensland 4226

Incredibly complex (making people write to them twice) but good deal so thanks for posting.

Love the fact that this post has a MASSIVE packet of timtams on the cover of the related catalogue ;-) Did the dentists of Australia unite to bring the 2 together ???

for deleting my comment about misleading title.

    • +2

Your comment is still there, people voted down your comment but is still viewable for those who wish to see it.

    • I thought voting was for whether the offer was good or bad, not for personal "insults" like a Mod removing a comment, which they didn't.

      • I think bashar voted -ve because the user believed the title is misleading not because of the comment but… while it would be nice for people to vote on the merit of the deal, a user can vote negative for any reason (see COTD, Gambling sites, EBAY & Dell deals)

        • Thanks Neil, as I said in my original post "I assume they mean the Woolworths receipt so not sure how the Dentist part fits in." so at the time of posting I didn't have all the info (as I obtained it online) so voting negative in light of being honest that not all the info was available is IMO, not justified, but hey, onto the next deal.

Its been proven that listerine gives you cancer so probably not the greatest bargain :)

    • And just so we don't get sued by Listerine…

There is now sufficient evidence to accept the proposition that developing oral cancer is increased or contributed to by the use of alcohol-containing mouthwashes.

      but

Studies conduced in 1985,[9] 1995,[10] and 2003[11] summarize that alcohol-containing mouth rinses are not associated with oral cancer.

  • Has anyone received the “$50 Dentist Cash Back” voucher yet? I sent in the initial paperwork ages ago and have received nothing! :-(

    • Yep, got mine last week and just sent it off again with the dental receipt.

  • Poor form - I sent my off the exact same time as a friend and they got theirs back around 3 weeks ago and NOTHING back for me!

Anyone know of a number to call to follow up? Very annoying.

  • Well called the J&J line, (02) 8260 8000 - advised I hadn't received the voucher and they transfered me to another area - the lady there was TERRIFIC said she'd follow up on it today and let me know by tomorrow at the latest! Really impressive service - well done J&J.

There's nothing worse than companies that offer cashbacks etc and DRAG it out ages and ages or seem to 'lose' applications……..Microsoft springs to mind as VERY poor in this regard……anyway we'll see how it pans out. :-)

  • Spoke too soon - 3 phone calls later still waiting on confirmation from J&J. Sloppy cashbacks are the pits - I really think they do a company way more harm than good. :-/
