- Medium roast (note of apple, apricot, caramel or cacao, very sweet. medium acidity)

- Dark Chocolate Roast(pungeant, note of spices, nutty, full body, lots of crema)

Cuba Turquino Lavado
- Medium-Dark Roast (dark cacao, balance sweetness, elegant and smooth, note of tobacco, medium body with low acidity)
- Dark Chocolate roast (cacao becoming more intense, increased sweet tobacco note, increased body, caramel sweetness)

Dominican Cibao Altura AA (Santo domingo)
- Medium Dark Roast (similar with cuba with bigger body, more intense, nutty caramel)

Tanzania Kilimanjaro
- Medium Dark roast (Share all the awesome kenya attributes, with milder taste, less acidity)

Kenya
- Dark Chocolate roast. (intense, full body, winey and fruity. Chocolate orange character, awesome coffee)
- Medium Dark roast. (more fruity flavor, less body, more floral, increase acidity but pleasantly lingering)

From Brazil with Love blend
- Brazilian based, with enhanced crema and caffeine, wake up, love is in the air!! Aromatic and spicy
Mrs Castro's Blend
- Cuban based, very smooth, dark chocolatey with a bit of fresh apple note, as smooth as Mrs Castro's leg :)
Crazy People Blend
- Not as crazy as it seems, this is a very bold statement in a cup of coffee. Dark chocolatey taste with a little nut to make you go nut!
Funny People Blend
- My wife's favourite blend, she loves funny people! This one is Tanzanian based, creating a fun coffee to drink.
African Sensation Blend
- Sensation in exotic Africa! An all african ingredients. A strong coffee with surprisingly low acidity. Many praise this as a fun coffee to drink, the best of my blends, but let you be the judge!

A little note about our roast:

Fruity fresh medium: This is our lightest roast, it is perfectly roasted just a minute or so after "first crack" to preserve the full aroma and coffee atributes. We recommend this roast for non milk based beverage such as short black, long black, filtered pour over, cold drip or syphon.

Dark Chocolate roast: This is our darkest roast, by saying dark, it is not the same with standard dark roast or vienna roast. The international definition is "full city" roast. It is roasted just few seconds before reaching second crack.

General Roast characters:

Dark roast character
The darker the roast, the bitter the coffee will taste
The darker the roast, the thinner the body of the coffee
Very dark roast (blackish) will make coffee taste ashy, smokey or burnt. Some people like this roast for espresso.
The darker the roast, the better a coffee can cut through milk.

Light roast character
The lighter the roast, the more we can taste the full coffee taste profile (coffee cupping is done with light roasted coffee no more than 12 minutes roast time no less than 8 minute)
The lighter the roast, the more acidity we can taste
The lighter the roast, the less capable a coffee can cut through milk.

A perfectly roast coffee is a coffee that is roasted to reach a certain degree of "darkness" within a certain degree of "lightness" that is optimal to bring out the sweet caramel contain (coffee contain sugar)in coffee beans and preserving the true flavor. Thats why we call our roast " Dark Chocolate roast" This is our term to describe the sweetness of our perfectly roasted coffee beans!

Our coffees are cheap yes, because we do not have much overheads like others. We believe in simplicity of good coffee, perfect passion and less BS. We do not use expensive equipment, hire fancy office and warehouse, nor use receptionist to answer our phones. You will talk to me the roastmaster, the guy behind the bags of coffees here in our roastery. I roast, I cup, I pack, I pick up the coffee bags (they are bloody heavy!)

      $25 a kilo for non-bulk orders is still a great price (as long as the quality is good). I pay more than double that from some roasters.

          Our coffee price as per commodity is priced wisely and economically but of course shipping is always be a difficult factor. So our statement is correct if we compare "apple to apple"

          for those who live in melbourne cbd, our coffee can be perceived as good value or good bargain and unfortunately not for those who live in other state. However we try hard to accomodate every needs.

          i am sure if you buy a kilo coffee from other roaster or company outside your state you will be charged with postage, although it is built in the price

      No our title is right. This oz bargain does not necessary points out you need to have free shipping. A good deal does not mean free shipping, A good deal means a lot more than that.

      As I pointed out, if you are close (radius 40 km from melbourne CBD), we can deliver to you free of charge

      Our price per kg is way cheaper than you buy from others.

        I agree with PW the title is misleading. That being said, this is a great deal. The prices you are offering on the coffee are very competitive and you are offering free delivery to Melb Cbd.

        I don't drink coffee nor do i live in melbourne, but if i did drink coffee i would most certainly have a go at something you have here.

These periods are needed for the freshly roasted coffee to degass properly before being sealed. We use aussie post parcel and it will get to you in further 2-3 days. Thanks
