You sign up and make your photo book first and place an order for it. Initially it may look like you might have to pay for the order but when you proceed to checkout and choose delivery method you get a discount of the total amount of the photo book meaning you only pay for delivery ($4.95 Australia wide or $0 pickup). I haven't finished editing mine yet though but so far it looks like a pretty good deal, because I will be paying $0. Not sure if you have to pay for extra pages if you want more than 20 pages.
