          Significant, iPad mini 1st gen = basically a shrunken down iPad 2, Ipad mini retina = is basically shrunken down Ipad air, so about 3 gen jump in technology.

        I bought from Crash of the day, you know, tough time, finnaly I got Samsung S3 for 350, Ipad mini for 150 and iphone 5 for 520. Last year COTD had a lot of promotion, this year….nope
