In store promotion (printed posted on the wall inside), just grabbed 2, but has been there for a week or two already, doesn't seem to have an end date.

To clarify, the Brighton\Bentleigh East\Moorabbin\Hampton East store is one store.
On the website it's East Bentleigh, but it next door to Brighton Nissan, can see the Hampton East Chemist Warehouse, and is 500m from Moorabbin town hall…go figure!It sits near the corner of South Rd & Nepean Hwy, all 4 corners of the intersection are 4 different suburbs.
Four different suburbs, but East Bentleigh isn't one of them!
It's only this store, has been around for few months now

They do but the fries don't.
This is a special store. Normally Hungry Jacks are a franchise operation, but for some reason this store is owned by the company. If you are going, better to go at 8, because the burgers at 9 will be the same meat.
Agree, it's far from the best store - mostly empty, shitty lukewarm product, and staff with absolutely no personality whatsoever. I ordered my 2 whoppers, a bbq cheeseburger and medium fries; the kid had to ask where the button for $2 whoppers was, then after he was told, waited 30 seconds, then asked where the button for bbq cheeseburgers was. Then the till wouldn't open for him (because he was standing in front of it). I said "It's not your night is it", no response just handed me change.
It's like a TAFE for fast food workers, but with less career options.
Give him a break. Maybe it was his first shift.
This, and it's made much harder by customers who have no patience whatsoever. I seriously doubt that he literally stood there for 30 seconds before pressing it. The amount of times i'd had customers complain about waiting "15 MINUTES" to be served at the cinema I work at when I know for a fact they hadn't even waited for 5.
Fast food staff will only give you personality if you be nice to them. They're not going to bother if you're only in for 2 minutes and out to be never seen again.
Fast food might not give them a career but it is a stepping stone. It's like from TAFE you can progress to university if you're good enough.
I have noticed this. They don't seem to accept the HJ coupons that every other hungry jacks will accept and every now and then they have specials like this.
off-topic I wonder if they still say "Would you like fries with that".
not too hard to learn that at Tafe.
Seems strange that its only one or two stores.
