    stay away from the vpad: there is no manual..just a leaflet in chinese.
    i turned iton…filled in my network and internet details…it worked until it had automatic windows 7 update..then wi fi stopped working.
    paid 169 bucks..used it for 5 minutes.

      When you installed updates did you select optional as well. if did just got to device manager and roll driver back for your wifi..

      Otherwise return the unit and we we gladly refund you your dollars

    Great Question.. In the past few years Starcom Laptops is mainly associated with Education and Government. 123done.com.au is a product that was made for online customers and to combat other online retailers.
    Its name 123 means in short select, pay, deliver..Something that is quick and easy to remember.
    It is fully registered entity of Starcom..

      Hmm, 123done doesn't sound like some tech store, but more like something mechanics, electricians, plumbers etc. would use, or some generic products store, or a printer ink/toner store. Perhaps should have built on the Starcom brand, with something using star. Like StarTech (referring to both star-tech, start-tech, and pun on startrek) or even StarPC perhaps. But then again that's my impression, and others would feel differently. Or perhaps you did research and found customers liked the 123done name.

        I am with you on that… 123done sounds so cheap. I thought that it is quite normal to enter a shops website and place an item in cart, then checkout and pay. So this 'select,pay,deliver' is nothing to be proud off/ or build your entire business around.

        No need to be so negative or tangent. I was merely providing feedback on the name as the topic came up about brand names and renaming. It is excellent that you have an online store front, to provide choice and competition amongst the online retailers, and provide ease of shopping your product range. Yes, you are a small business and it is good to provide support for Australian workers too. However, at no point did anybody say anything about your prices, services, ebay or Hong Kong. The only topic that was being discussed is the online store name. Yes, I understand that you have pride in your store and store name, it is commended that you do, but you should at least be able to take constructive feedback. A response of "123done is well liked by all our customers so we've stuck with it" would have sufficed.
