I honestly didn't know about there is such Aus specs. So there is GST paid in the tax invoice issued by an Australian Apple authorised reseller for us to claim GST if we travel overseas within 60 days? Or just another grey import?

    • We are a HK company which will not pay GST, however the warranty stays VALID

What is your HK Govt. Company Number?

Are you an Apple Authorised Reseller?

What "warranty stays valid"? The local Hong Kong China warranty - correct?

You purchase these units at retail in Hong Kong, after you get orders from customers?

        • +1

Don't expect any response from this guy, he knows he's still going to get a bunch of impulse orders from idiots.

        • I will reply to ever single question.

          1. HK Govt no: 53205421 - Hong Kong Wholesale LTD

          2. We are not authorized reseller, nor are Kogan or any online entity.

          3. iPad have international Warranty where they are activated. Wifi stock 100% international, 4G stock where the Bands are the same or where Apple has the repair parts.

          4. I guess your trying to be funny, but no we do not buy retail, although our retail site is more of a hobby than a business.

We are a Mobile Phone & Tablet Wholesale company not a ebay store.

        • HK Govt no: 53205421 - Hong Kong Wholesale LTD

That number comes up as "invalid".

          I did find this however.
          CR No.: 1523328
Company Name: HONG KONG WHOLESALE LIMITED
Company Type: Private company limited by shares
          Date of Incorporation: 02-NOV-2010

        • I gave you BR no. Thats our CI.

        • Also what deal would you like to see Mr Gadget?

"Please note that all our products are imported goods and will not come with manufacturer's warranty but instead we will cover the warranty by our own company."?????????????????????????????????????????? o.o

    • Its covered by Apple Aus.

Not for warranty, nor for out of warranty replacements, it is not.

Call Apple Australia on 1300 321 456 and ask them.

        • You can check on apple Website with the IMEI. Says it cold warranty and never activated.

          Cheers.

    • If thats so go for it!

  • So this will work with Australian 4G LTE? And come with an Australian charger?

  • +4

    with Australian warranty
Hope not catch too much hate :D

    Deceptive and dishonest seller/rep.

Apple Australia will check the IMEI number before they do anything else. This will reveal that HK China was the place of first sale. No warranty for you.

    • Not only the IMEI number. Every device has a unique Apple serial number. If the Apple serial number is not from Australia then no warranty for you.

Apple are more reluctant to replace iPhones than iPads, because of Carrier locks, etc. iPads are different in the way they are not carrier locked, so it will be a hit and miss if Apple Australia would honour the warranty or not. Depends on store/employee. Check out the countless number of threads on Whirlpool.

Actually, Apple Australia tend to support iPads from HK/China/Macau market when they are WiFi only - not cellular.

        • Thats why we are selling AUS stock in this deal.

    • Deceptive and dishonest? Give me a break.

The imei will nbot reveal that HK CHina was the first place of sale since its not activated. Please do not lie or flame when you do not know the fact, I made extra effort of getting AUS spec for this deal just to avoid people like you.

Fist of all how does Australia has its own specs for ipad ?

Second of all if the seller is selling out of HK why doesn't he just mention its a grey import and local warranty applies, why try to bait Australians into thinking that just cause its cheaper that if anything went wrong that it could be fixed here.

    buyer beware.

    • Fist of all how does Australia has its own specs for iPad ?

There are two variants of the iPad Air, OP is suggesting that HK iPad is identical to AUS stock, despite warranty, etc.

Read my comment above. It is a hit and miss. Here is an example of a US iPad being replaced in Bondi Apple Store:

It is a hit and miss. Here is an example of a US iPad being replaced in Bondi Apple Store:

The OP in that thread probably had a 32GB 3rd generation WiFi only iPad - NOT a 3G cellular iPad. Which is why they received warranty support. The OP wrote "3g".

        • I do not understand how that is related to us.

This is Clean sealed Australian stock, Not HK stock.

    • Starwarsfreak,

Yes Australia has its own spec regarding the LTE bads.

      Its covered by Apple.

Dishonest and sneaky. Here… Have a neg!

    • -2

Great comment, stay positive. Have great day!

  • This guy (the Rep/OP) either just has no clue how Apple 'work', or is completely stupid, or is indeed dishonest. Maybe all three?

We are not authorized reseller, nor are Kogan or any online entity.

He claims that no one who sells online is an authorised Apple Reseller?
What about Next Byte, Dick Smith, JB HiFi, and so on?

iPad have international Warranty where they are activated.

This is just so stupid, I don't know what to say…

no we do not buy retail

As they are not an Apple Reseller - they have no way to get iPads other than to buy them from either Apple's HK retail store or from an Authorised Apple Reseller such as Fortress etc.

our retail site is more of a hobby than a business.

Uh huh. I am sure that OzBargainers would love to buy expensive tech products from a hobbyist.

You can check on apple Website with the IMEI. Says it cold warranty and never activated.

More pointless stupidity from this Rep/OP. The warranty is valid in the country/market of first sale - in this case Hong Kong.

we are selling AUS stock in this deal.

Rep/OP wants us to believe that a hobby store in Hong Kong, that is not an Authorised Reseller, purchased Apple iPads that were intended for sale in Australia/New Zealand? He has no idea how Apple's supply chain works. Well he is a one-man hobbyist business after all.

The imei (sic) will nbot (sic) reveal that HK CHina was the first place of sale since its not activated.

Oh my! What an idiot. He just has no idea.

Please do not lie or flame when you do not know the fact, I made extra effort of getting AUS spec for this deal just to avoid people like you.

Did not work out for you, did it?

This is Clean sealed Australian stock, Not HK stock.

Australian market iPads become 'that' when they are packed in China. They are packed with AU/NZ power supplies. Their Serial and IMEI Numbers are allocated to the AU/NZ market.

The only way you, hobby seller in Hong Kong, could get AU/NZ Market iPads is to have purchased stolen goods from Australia or New Zealand or to have purchased legitimate stock from an AU/NZ Apple Store or an AU/NZ Authorised Reseller.

    • Man you sure got a lot of time your hands. I get you wont believe me.

You got me on the online re sellers of apple, I give you that.

We are buying wholesale and there is a ton of ways getting iPads without buying from Fortress or Apple store.

We do not buy stolen stock, and the stock we do have is for Australia market.

Anyway its good you give me your time of day even your a Angry bird.

Btw I can send you picture proving my point, I might just upload some on the product page.

Appreciate your feedback anyway, I might be stupid but not dishonest.

      Cheers Patrik

You do not have a point to prove. Even if you did, how would a picture of an iPad Air prove anything?

You have a 'history' on OzBargain under your previous ID. You may have changed your website, but you have obviously not changed.

      • +1

        We are buying wholesale

        Nonsense.

there is (sic) a ton of ways getting iPads without buying from Fortress or Apple store.

Sure, but there is no way you (a one man hobbyist business) can buy at a reseller (wholesale as you call it) price. The best you could do is 10% (maybe 15%) off HK retail.

We do not buy stolen stock, and the stock we do have is for Australia market.

Prove it! An invoice showing IMEI/Serial Numbers.

I might be stupid but not dishonest

You previous history on OzBargain shows that you are indeed both.

You have an OzBargain history of sockpuppeting and spam under your previous ID (thanks to pmupsinep for the link):-

      Hey,

What deal would you like to see?

I get you a lot time here, please suggest an item instead. We do these promos at cost.

      Cheers

      Patrik

We do these promos at cost.

HK Apple Store retail price HK$7288
        Your price is HK$6630
        9% less than HK retail.

So I agree, you are selling at your cost. Not the best business plan, but then again (as you stated) this is just a hobby.

        • Its more satisfying that Raging on forums.

Besides, my price is: 6450HKD not 6630 HKD.

          Cheers :D
