do i really need another portable charger?
    tempting though

    Que the "it's a fake" brigade….

    • Was just about to say that… :P

      • the 10400mah(sense 4) one they sell is probably fake but this s6 they actually state is 100% genuine.

My "fake" sense4 that i bought from the last deal worked perfectly fine over the weekend

not sure why there's so many whingers

      • Because most of the knock-off copies have inferior batteries and circuits that might work today and for a few months, but might fail or rapidely decrease power after a few dozen re-charges, rather than what you should be getting, over 250 to 350 + recharges with moderate losses in capacity.

    • my sense 4 from scorptec works fine, just the indicator doesn't make much sense (the orange light indicator varies from 3 to 1 then to 2 and back 3..).

    • Well, there is no Sense 6 model on the romoss.com website….

sigh, never know whether to buy these or not. Also for the people above the issue isn't whether it works or not; it's whether the charge they claim it gives is actually an accurate indicator of its capacity. If it only gives your phone one or two charges my as well pick up a genuine 2600mah portable pack because it's lighter.

        • according to their website, sense isn't even a series LOL

        • bought another 20,000mah one that has only about 5000mah actual capacity, I'm assuming same goes with many other cheap 20,000 claim power banks.

      • +1

Well, I just found the Sense 6 on the Amazon website, with only 16000mah capacity.

Apparently, this is an upgraded version. I might give it a go

  • Ordered as i was looking for one to take to PAX this year

We'll see when it gets here

  • When are the 20000 mAh batteries coming for laptops (such as surface pro) coming out to Australia? Been eyeing a few that don't ship to australia on Amazon..
    =(

    • could you use an adapter for this or would that not work

      • Need dc 12 volt+ output.
        E.g. http://www.amazon.com/Intocircuit®-Notebooks-Compatible-Thunderbolt-Connectors/

  • So this is a 100% genuine one?

    • +1

As genuine as anything out of TMart,Meritline or china in general can be.

  • +2

    Well…

The official webpage only lists a 16,000mAh version:

    http://www.romoss.com.cn/sense-6.php

However, clicking on the links on above page to tmall.com / jd.com it does indeed list a 20,000mAh version:

    http://qqmsm.tmall.com/

    http://jmall.jd.com/shop/romoss/index.html

The 20,000mAh version is 10 Yen cheaper than the 16,000mAh version, though. I have also been told the red word next to "sense 6" on the 20,000mAh version means "additional" (all of the above webpages are just pictures, no real text, so the translate option fails…)

Geez at 99 Yuan on JD it's only ~AUD$17, at TMart's price it better be genuine since their shipping isn't exactly platinum express.

I already have a $70 Anker power bank.
why am I still tempted to buy more power banks… Aaaaaaaarggggggggh.

    • +1

Same here!, I think I have enough to power my home for at least 1 day

    • I bought an Anker Astro 3, but that just became a paper weight after couple of uses. The good thing was, Anker refunded the money to the Amazon account.
Now I'm looking for one and looks like I might need to give Anker another go, only brand that seems to have some good rating and reviews when it comes to powerbank.

I think it has something to do with energy in general. You have a lot of Eneloops as well?
