  • which branch?

    • This was Port Stephens but should be at all stores.

  • i bought an ozito one similar to this a while back for $69 and i was impressed with it. cuts through metal tube, wood, etc with ease. beats using an angle grinder

  • How many dualsaws can I destroy with this until I need a new one?

    • Three times stronger than steel

Raises an interesting question… can it destroy itself, or another?

      • First image - dog house falling apart … Yeah, a saw doesn't give you skill, it just helps you cut stuff. :P

    • How many dualsaws can I destroy with this until I need a new one?

      1

after you destroy the first one you will have to go and get another one so you can then destroy that one.

or even better, maybe you can start a kinda dualsaw battle royale and once you have found the ultimate dualsaw send it back to the factory to use as breeding stock?

  • Ive never seen this saw in bunning… great buy though, I have the duel saw and wow it really is a beast lol better than a angle grinder but really messy :)

But this is cheaper than buying just the blades (even though the dual saw blade are quite tough, I still have the originals on and they have no damage, Im quite shocked sometimes)

  • The reciprocating saw is also 50/-

  • 49/- I mean

    • Yes, down from $69. I didn't think it was a big enough saving to post. Then again people do post stuff that is discounted by $1.

  • Anyone know if this is available in Perth stores?

    • +1

I might be able to check tomorrow.

    • Heaps of reciprocating saws at Mindarie (maybe 20), I picked up one and a destroyer also, when I rang lady said they had 5, however there was none that I saw when I collected mine, try calling if your after the destroyer. Thanks OP

  • Possibly dumb question, but could you use this instead of a circular saw? I need to buy one for cutting up some timber (I have a drop saw for shorter lengths, but this is like 80cm). Would it work worse, as well as or better than a circular saw? Or is it totally different?

Whats the brand like compared to Makita etc?

    • i watched at some guy reviewing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzEfLNk2g8A and it appeared to do a cross-cut through timber very quickly compared to a circular saw. i don't know how accurate you could make your cuts. also, you need to use wax sticks to lubricate the blades, though i'm not sure if it is just for cutting metal or for every material. possibly you just need a different blade for your circular saw to best suit what you want to do.
