I've seen Panamax for $0.79 at my chemist but theyre not always that cheap. Can vouch to say they are very good though! Made in England and hospitals use them worldwide as they're the cheapest pain relief and also the safest.

    • Usual dose is usually 1 tablet first if not then 2. Pain relief should last the 4-6 hours per dose ensuring to Observe the 8 tablet maximum per day. Liver toxicity and failure can be quite rapid, when excessive doses are reached. Think the potential lethal dose is 24 tablets. As with all things, moderation is key. Be mindful of combination codeine products as it is seen too often that they can cause addiction quite rapidly.

    • It's currently at My Chemist for $0.69!

      • which store?

        online shows $3.99 :(

i had to buy panadol from a newsagency the other day in an emergency.
    24 cost me 8 bucks.
I asked if they would grow a beanstalk.
    They said probably not.
    I planted one in case.

    • I feel your pain (not quite as bad though), in the last month I've somehow run out twice and had to pay $3 & $4 for 100 packs… Oh the humanity!!!

i picked up a box from chemist warehouse a while back. might have been slightly cheaper.

anyway, here's a timely choice article on brand vs generic pain killers: http://www.choice.com.au/reviews-and-tests/food-and-health/g…

i've also have some liquid ibuprofen from aldi stashed away. when you've got a ache you want something that acts quickly.

  • panamax is awesome if you like the feeling of the tablet travelling down your neck

  • Great price. I always have a box of these floating around. It kills me to pay full price for pain killers.
