    I bought one of these last year. Im going to get another one for the other car.
    Is used powering the kids dvd headrests, plus our phones and the other odd bit of technology from time to time.
    The same thing at supercheap was $30 last time i looked. $5 is a steal.

    Can this be used to, say, charge my iPhone and iPad mini and at the same time power my car dvr (eg. G1W) and GPS unit?

      Looks like output per port is only 1000mA each. Not enough for an iPad Mini, or anything newer than an iPhone 4 or Samsung Galaxy S3.

        The last time they sold these they were only 500mA per USB port. I can't see the labelling properly in the image but the 1000mA in the specs could just be a typo.

        Also be aware that these things have a 5amp fuse, not 10amp which is the typical maximum load for cigarette lighters. I've blown the fuse on one myself.

    Perhaps its just my car, but this product interferes with my car radio, rendering some channels useless.
