Took the plunge to get this huge set and was pleasantly surprised that Myer ONE members get an additional 10% discount.

A$278 makes it more palatable compared to US$250 on Amazon (+US$60++ for delivery to Sydney).

Other notable discounted items:
LEGO Creator Volkswagen T1 Camper Van 10220 (AU$139-10%=AU$125.1) vs US$120 on Amazon (excluding delivery).
LEGO City #60026 (AU$99-10%=$89.10) vs US$152(!!) on Amazon (excluding delivery)

Was told by Myer staff that Myer ONE discount lasts until Sunday. Not sure if works for online purchase.

      Be prepared for the extra discount to be denied, but you never know what will happen. Remember that retail staff are just following instructions, so don’t get mad at them if they won’t apply the discount; after all the voucher does exclude LEGO.

      This is not a bargain, but the exploitation of the ignorance of Myer staff.

        Haha, that reminds me. When I used to work at Officeworks, some of the pricematching deals on OzBargain included exploiting the ignorance of Officeworks staff.

    As 3252900sl kindly put it, YMMV for the 10% discount.

    I had 3 cashiers just chilling behind the counter and none of them raised the 'excluding Lego' issue.

  I just went to purchase the last LEGO City 60026 at Parramatta. It wasn't even on the shelf; instead it was hidden in one of those trolleys that I walked passed as I was about to leave. I paid at a counter that wasn't the closest to the Lego. The lady was willing to give me the extra 10% discount even without the voucher, but still required me to have the Myer One card which I didn't have.

  So basically, make sure you have a Myer One card (even if you don't have the voucher) and pay at another counter away from the Lego section to increase your chances of getting the extra 10% off.
