    got home today to a horrible sight.
    a box full of smashed up fruit sitting on my bin outside my house.
    looks like box broke so they just chucked fruit back in.

    either damaged in transit or they just left on bin and it fell off.
    instructions were to leave on porch.
    i can upload a photo but its disgusting.

        The bottom was broken. I doubt teenagers would repack it afterwards. I did see some melon splattered down the street so im thinking it was delivered to wrong address then picked up and bottom fell out.

        Or wasthe bottom box in the van.

        If it was put on porch as instructed i doubt anyone would have even seen it.
        Dead end street so very littletraffic.

        Looks like someones repacked it as theres bits of tomato in different sections of the box.

        Friend gother box ok with a few replacements altho the basil was dried out

        But yeah looks like squashed in box somehow as theres cantelope seeds all over

          Hmmm pretty easy to imagine smart arsed kids jumping up and down/ kicking the box around a bit then replacing it, just for a shit stir. Not saying that's what happened, but its easy to imagine.
          It is, after all, a small family business that is giving a big discount for the purpose of making a good impression. They mentioned in the thread that its them delivering in their own trucks. Can't see them delivering rooted fruit. What would be the point of that? It would seem at odds with the care and consideration that the OP has shown.
          My guess it that whatever happened, happened after delivery but nevertheless, I am sure an explanatory email to them with the pics will get quick results.

          i see a tyre mark on the order sheet so im thinking they left the box outside garage a few doors down wheres theres watermelon everywhere on the pavement and a guy backed his car over it who then moved it up to the right address. the bannanas and melon were flattened, grapefruit split but other stuff untouched. box sodden at bottom and not holding together. mystery. will check tomorrow.

          i asked neighbours and they said a box was sitting on the pavement for a day and 1/2 about 6 houses down the street so it seems it was a misdelivery and just got damaged by locals or by accident. will resubmit.

    Hey Garage, someone might have intentionally messed with your fruit-box, or maybe some unlucky/one-off freak-event occurred… either way I feel bad for you, cause it would've been a disappointing experience. Given that I got what I reckon is at least $20 worth of stuff for only $10, I'd be happy to sling $5 into your paypal account, to take the 'bad taste' ( ;-P ) out of the experience for ya'.
    Seriously/ jokes aside, PM me your PP account number, and I'll sling a fiver into it. That way you've paid $5 for some alfalfa and whatever else was maybe salvageable, and I've still only paid $15 for $20 worth of good stuff, delivered.

    Got mine either late last night or early today. Either way had no idea it got dropped off - surely knocking on the door is a good idea. Either way, box was fresh, well packed and brimming. I've had farmers direct before and the generosity and quality for me is chalk and cheese. I also much prefer the veg. choice with this company much better. Maybe just suits our eating habit. Good stuff all round.

    Very annoyed …. just got a call saying they regret that they cannot deliver my order during the promotion period as there are not enough drivers delivering in my area - 3340. I had even checked on Monday to see if they would deliver to my area and was told yes. Asked if they could deliver instead to other postcode but she said no, they are too busy. Disappointing … they should've pulled the offer if they were too overwhelmed with orders…

    Shipment just arrived!
    Ginger - excellent (not to old & not too young; clean)
    Blueberries - excellent (don't see many bruised ones)
    Shiitake mushrooms - I am a little bummed at the 'Product of China' label. Thought they would be 'sourced from local growers'? But then again I had a look at their website (http://choismushroom.com.au/) and it looks like the mushrooms are all grown in Australia? I'm confused.

    I ordered on 18th, and got the delivery today.
    The above list shows what I expected to get and what I actually got.

    Overall happy about the packaging/delivery.
    But honey dew was missing from my family box.
    There are 2 kiwi fruit which is not on the list. I guess they replaced honey dew????
    There is a hole on one of the capsicums.
    Also the 2 broccoli are not fresh at all. There's mold on them. We had to threw them out right away.

    Our order was missing 3 corns and 4 kiwifruit.

    All fixed now - they sent me another box! So we ended up with a whole lot of extras…all good :-)

    Op my mum placed an order for an area you don't deliver to. I emailed immediately after the order requesting refund with no reply . Then 2 days later received an email saying order shipped but of course nothing received. I then went back on the site to email again requesting a refund but still haven't heard back …

    I got the order, but it wasn't from the delivery driver. It was from the resident of the house where it was incorrectly delivered to. I looked at the address and it had my address on it, but it was delivered an entire suburb away at someone else's house! Just as well the person who received it was kind enough to drive it over to our house.

    Here's the next shock… about half the fruit was smashed, bruised, squashed, rotten. Grapes got mould on it, strawberries were rotten, apples were overripe and most were smashed/rotten, bananas are half black and overripe, mandarins were squashed and leaking juices in the box.

    I would post photos, but I've thrown out half of the fruit already. Would have been cheaper to go to Woolworths to buy the fruit that could be saved even after the discount. Plus it would have been fresher too.

      sounds like your first response was to neg them on ozbargain.
      Have you given the company an opportunity to resolve your issue?
      Or is complaining more fun?

      Or are you still in "shock" that a company could possibly ever send something to the wrong place?
      Because that never ever ever happens.

      If that's all it takes for something to shock you, it's probably best you stay inside with the curtains drawn.

    It's been nine days since I ordered a box, five days ago I received an email saying my money will be refunded within 3 days. Five days later I am still waiting. Another email 2 days ago saying the sane thing.Its not a case of looking for something to complain about, this has been annoying, frustrating and extremely poor and confusing service. I now just want my Money back from this company. My experience with this company has been appalling, glad others had some luck.

    Hi I took the order and later that week a nice lady rung me and apologised it hadn't been delivered and at it would come on Saturday. But no delivery. On Monday the box arrived but they only gave 1 of items instead of the quantity (eg I ordered 5 garlic but they gave me 1, I ordered 2kg sweet potato and they only gave 1kg, etc). No issue with quality like some people here which is a plus.

    Understanding that mistakes happen I emailed hem the pictures and the issue so it could be resolved, nothing. I emailed again early this morning and the business day has closed still nothing. Not great value, to be honest for the price I paid I could have gone straight to woollies.
    If they are genuine about running an online business then timely delivery , keeping commitments and communication when issues is critical.

    A thumbs down, and I'll let everyone know if they do decide to address it to be fair :)

    I finally got my delivery one week after order placed. Understandable as they would have been so busy. Very happy with the quality of the veggies, but to be honest it was a bit of a drama actually getting the delivery. The company had kept insisting they had delivered the box when they hadn't and I ended up buying my weeks veggies from the shops anyway and will have to give most of the box away. If they can be more reliable I would recommend them.

    Nearly two weeks later I still have not received my delivery & no response to multiple requests for refund.
    I'm frustrated by the lack of communication so I'm going to log a Paypal dispute.
