As I am the web dev for both companies, I was torn on whether to post this under a new profile, or the same ol' Hoselink one.

Tbh, I'm really digging the Iced Chai. It's subtle, but fantastic. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with chocolate.

          It was a email harvesting site, purely made to get the details of users who have money to spend on gym supplements. They then use the emails for targeting scams for things like fake discount gucci bag websites. e.g. 80% off.
          Australia's dollar is worth a lot and people have a lot of spare money, so targetting them is a big business. Entire sites that look real are created just for a short lived "campaign". Be wary.

          They were a legit company but got too ahead of themselves and cracked under the pressure of trying to give out thousands of samples. It didn't help that when the business caved in, all the employees ran away. From what I heard though, the protein was actually legit. Just extremely poor management and planning.

          You did the right thing by cutting it off at a certain number instead of trying to fulfil everyones request.

          Every single day of the year, in Australia, there are 2,500 scam reports made, every single day, AU$250,000 is lost to fraudsters in this country.

          Do you really think its wise to downvote good advice to be wary and know not to believe everything you read? Sure, go ahead. All the savings put together on this site means nothing compared to what criminals are extracting from people. Don't trust the internet, whether its community voted or not it won't change the truth of the matter.

          I'm not one of those conspiracy people, so this is nothing to do with them vs us.

      That deal is always in the back of my head. Free protein deals don't always end well on Ozbargain. I have lost count of the amount of samples I have signed up for and never received.

        Or you buy protein from one company (who shall remain unnamed) and then the proteingate scandal occurs… Also seems to have occurred with their Beta Alanine for me. Was taking their version for 12 months, and even at 5g doses, no reaction.. Tried bulk nutrients 3g Beta Alanine and within 5 minutes I could feel the tingles like never before…..

        I'm very wary now of any companies selling protein/supplements — if the price is low, it's too good to be true and you get what you pay for (even when it comes to bargains)

          There are a number of companies out there that simply aim to have the lowest price above all else. But, at what cost?

          Although I'm not going to seek out the absolute most expensive, exclusive product, I try not to compromise when it's what I'm consuming.

          We aim to have everything we sell independently certified. We're not there yet, but soon.

      This is the most drinkable protein powder I have tasted. Mixes great in water (milk is still nicer, though), and the flavour is just the right intensity, so you won't get sick of it.

    (paying $6 for a 120g sample of protein (works out to $50/kg) is a bit much .. you could probably post this for $1.40 using australia post)

      It should be free shipping on any order that includes a free sample promotion. So, if the promo pops up at checkout, the total discount should be 8.95 ($2 for the sample + $6.95 to cover the flat rate shipping).

      I'll look into this to make sure there isn't an issue, but many others have placed their order without problems…

      In a nutshell, the difference in the filtration process that separates out the whey protein. WPI has a slightly higher protein concentration than WPC, but given the quality of our WPC, there isn't a big difference between the two.

      Traditionally, WPI is also thought of as mixing better than WPC. As far as our proteins go, I find this to be the case, but only by a very small margin. Both mix beautifully in water.

      Some prefer the taste of WPC as it may retain a little more milk fat, but I personally son't have a preference when it comes to taste.

      Yes, we only sweeten with stevia across our range.
      The problem with Stevia can be getting it mixed in the right concentration to ensure things don't get too sweet!

      We believe we've found the perfect level of sweet and hope you'll think so too.

      Iced Chai is fantastic for people who have had protein powders a fair bit before and want something new (and tasty), but if you haven't tried this stuff before, I would go with Chocolate, personally.

      In fact, my current fave is mixing the chocolate with the organic coconut water powder into a shake and it tastes a bit like a Bounty bar.
      Awesome.

    Your products seem to be way overpriced compared to the competitors. For example, your flavoured WPC is $12.90 per kg more expensive than Bulk Nutrients WPC! Plus, free samples are given out by most protein suppliers on their websites/facebook. Gotta say, I'm confused by the amount of positive votes on this one…

      I guess we can't always differentiate ourselves on price, but I firmly believe that ours is the best tasting, best macro profile protein on the market. That said, people need to taste the stuff to know how we stack up - Thus, free samples for all!

    My Iced Chai sample arrived yesterday, had it for breakfast today. Was really refreshing, didn't have the bitter aftertaste that some Stevia products can have. Very happy with the sample, I have placed an order for the Iced Chai 1kg Concentrate, 1kg of the Pure Chocolate Isolate and 1kg of French Vanilla Isolate. Hope they're as good - shame the Chai doesn't come as a premium option - thanks!
