  • $50.55 AUD at G2A

$34.99 EUR (about $51 AUD) at Kinguin

Possibly worth the $2 to get from OZGs though

EDIT: This is for a Steam key obviously…

    • FWIW, you do get $1.20 of Player Points from Ozgameshop.

  • Good price, but I think I'll wait till it's closer to release.

Might even be an idea to wait till it's released to see if the PC port is half decent. (Still haven't had any fun in watchdogs)

  • Have they announced the official release date as yet?

    • Rockstar said "This Fall". Fall is our Spring so I guess it would still be 3+ months away?

      • hmm guess another October release then.

      • +2

And by "fall" they mean Q3 2016?

I think i'm the last person on earth who hasn't played this… still waiting for the PC version.

        • I haven't played it either, been waiting for a PS4 version. btw the quote was "This Fall" ;)

  • Should I jump on this $64.99 price for GTA V PS4 today? Or will it be possibly cheaper at some stage before release…. Not sure which other outlets will compete with this price.

    • +1

That's normally what you pay at DickSmith for a preorder

      • Yeah, I'd wait. Better to have the cash in your pocket imo

  • I was going to go and buy a PS just for this dam game.

  • +1

Have it on PS3, gonna grab it for PC for the mods. Damn, its a great game. :)

  • Guys do you think it's going to be any cheaper if i want to preorder, any chance of saving any coin waiting?

    • +3

Depends how long you want to wait and what platform you want to play on. PC games will have bigger dicsounts sooner (and are cheaper to begin with). Console games tend to keep their value a bit more. With that in mind I wouldn't expect it to drop below $50 on console for 6months+ after release (using GTA V PS3 as a reference).

Personally I will be playing it on PS4 with friends, I won't be getting it until they do. I'll then pick it up in a few years from a Steam sale to take advantage of mods that might be out by then.

      • Thanks, I want to play GTA V so bad i might have to bite this bullet.

      • Useful site, thanks.

  • Those codes seem to work on most upcoming games/pre-orders.

I ordered LEGO Batman 3 on the PS4 ($60.99 with GOLD code) as well as The Last Of Us Day One Edition PS4 ($52.99 with GOLD code) as I doubt they'll be any cheaper when released here.

I was going to grab Little Big Planet 3 as well, but even for $72.99 with the code, I don't know if it'll be cheaper here or whether there'll be pre-order DLC with it. Since it's a November release, it's too far away, so i'll hold off on that one.

    Thanks OP!

    • The deal (the main link) is titled "The Pick of E3" and basically if it was a game announced at E3 the code should apply to it.

  • does anyone know if you own the ps3 copy they will do a cheaper price for you to get the ps4 version…. probably not but worth a try..

  • @ Graffin - with the Last of Us will the DLC etc. work all ok from UK copy?
I understand the PS4 is region free but isn't DLC region locked?

    • (best impersonation of Graffin's voice)That would depend;

      • is the DLC region locked at all
      • is the DLC included on the disc or is it a code in the case (I suspect it is all on the disc and no code)

If it's a code it may still work on an AU account

      • +1

Hey CyberGenesys, I have a SingStar profile with videos if you wanna get my voice just right LOL

Lego Legend, DLC is only region locked to either PAL or NTSC. If you buy the US version you'll have problems with DLC, but with the UK version, it's usually the same disc number that's released here.

If the UK game has any PSN codes to redeem DLC, you can enter the code in the AU Store, and in 99% of cases, it will download the DLC without any dramas.

There's only been one or two instances where content wasn't available in Australia, and when that happens, you'll be told the code you entered is incorrect or has been used. So then you'll need to set up a UK PSN/SEN account and redeem the code on the UK Store and it'll work perfectly.

With The Last of Us, EB and JB have the "Survival Pack" included with the regular version, that means the file will be available on the Australian PSN/SEN Store, so if you get a code with the UK version, you can redeem it in the AU PSN/SEN Store and it'll download that very same file. All of the Season Pass content looks like it will be on disc though!

  • ^ spot on impersonation

After doing some quick research it appears it's on the disc so I gather nothing will be region locked at $52.99 (GOLD code) for the day one editions that's a great price
