  • Hearing lots of new lately to not use unofficial cables due to causing phone internal damage
    Any information on these cables?

      propaganda from apple

I've had multiple issues with cheap unofficial cables not charging, if you want to risk your $600+ iDevice to save $14 than knock yourself out :)

        • +1

totally agree, bought some cheap cables myself that play up when charging so went and spent the extra dollars. As mentioned if your $600-1000 phone worth $14?

        • who spends that much on phones these days.

        • i guess it depends where you buy from, i only really buy cheap stuff like that from banggood or tmart. both have pretty good customer service and will resend/refund without too many questions if there is a problem (rarely)

        • Bang good has rubbish customer service. I had a bad torch they refused to replace.

        • that was dim of them

    1 use only!
    1 item only!

Hmmmm.. Thinking the cable might be a dud. But a lock pick set for $1.49, might just add it on to the list of other unnecessary items I got from eBay.

This might be useful for the next Ozbargain Xmas Party…

    49c with the code.

  • ERROR The transaction currency specified must be the same as previously specified.

Looks like you can't change it to AUD.

  • Thanks

I bought three last time they were on special for 99c each, none worked. Tried contacting support staff, didn't get a response. You have been warned!

    • Thanks mate, I was just about buy one… and saw the neg and cancelled the transaction

This site is really cumbersome to use. Spent a while 'buying' stuff, only to be diverted to a screen suggesting that I should 'log in' to their website, after clicking the 'your almost done' button for the paypal purchase! Tried creating a username, now they claim they've emailed me a 'confirmation code', but I have received no email (checked junk mail etc.). I'm officially giving up, and won't bother with these turkeys again. Thanks for the tip-off on the lock-pick set btw, was going to get one.

  • I registered with them, and ordered one Professional Lock Pick Tool Set, paid thru' PayPal, but I got the Error message regarding currency. I tried both Au$ and US$ still error keep coming. I gave up.Crap website. I wasted my time.

  • Agree - bad website . Got currency error message too

  • For those who are getting the currency error message, which payment method did you use? Did you click on the 'Check out with PayPal' button or 'Proceed to checkout'?

  • checkout with paypal…

  • Thank you. When did the error message appear? Did it appear on the PayPal payment page?
At the cart, you can try clicking on 'Proceed to checkout' instead of 'Check out with PayPal' - you can still choose your payment method on the next screen.

    • Or, you could "try" out (i.e., test) your systems in a simulation, before actually posting deals here… and fix any apparent problems beforehand. That way you would not end up accidentally generating negative publicity on a large-scale, in a misguided attempt to promote your company.
