all time low on this. camels showing it has been $36.11 in the past.

a tiny bit cheaper than the $35.99 Anker 3 port GaN and not long so won't have any issues coming loose like the Anker, but the Xiaomi only has 2 ports and includes a 1m 6A A to C cable (yes it's A to C high quality 6A cable for Xiaomi phone fast charge).

I have this Xiaomi as well it's a high quality charger. but it does just about block certain plugs either side. for example if I have my Anker 65W A2712 in the plug beside it will fit (plug Xiaomi after), so would probably a normal slim plug to a laptop charger. but definitely not a big plug brick thing or maybe some extension cords.
you can also get around it by using a triangle shape double adapter.
the plugs are insulated for those who want to know.

Input: 110-240V ~ 50/60 Hz 1.5A

Charging protocols: Mi Turbo Charge/for Samsung AFC/QC3.0

Not sure if this is a stupid question but will the cable that comes with the charger allow it to charge at the max rate ? Will any cable do etc?

    • +1

I don't think so. the 1m A to C cable is for fast charging 67W with Xiaomi phone. it will not trigger USB-C PD which is the most common fast charge type.
this image shows an extra "pin" (wire) which is used to detect Xiaomi phones.

if it doesn't detect it, I think it will charge normal USB-A speeds (12W, or QC3.0 up to 36W).

      • Actually I have a Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G so as long as it works for Xiaomi phones i should be right i guess?

        • Note 13 Pro Plus 5G

yeah but I would still check the user manual of your Note 13 Pro Plus 5G to see if it actually supports 67W Xiaomi fast charge. because brands have a habit of keeping their best features for the flagship models.

if it doesn't then you might not get any faster charge than the charger you got in the box.

          • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: It actually supports 120W charging and came with a 120W charger in the box so yeah pretty sure 67 should be good. I'm just really confused about what cables i need to utilise the full throughput of the charger as it's seemingly all a bit confusing. Anyway this should definitely charge at 67w from what i understand now given it's all Xiaomi. Thanks for the info too, appreciate that !

@Iggemo: yeah sorry don't have a Xiaomi phone to try. but afaik the A to C cable with extra pin (wire) in the image linked above is what enables it to charge at full speed.

I have one, great charger, but keep in mind that due to the pins being horizontal instead of vertical it limits usage in a double powerpoint.

I took some photos to show how certain things can fit like I explained in the post description. sorry for the grubbiness I vacuum it regularly but must be some water/coffee stain.

Xiaomi next to Anker 2712 from above.
even some slight air gap to allow air to pass between and cool. if they were touching they might warm each other up. 😀

Xiaomi next to Anker 2712 from the side.
yes they are both fully in, no gap I tested by pressing down on both. but because it's close I don't think it's a good idea to press down on Xiaomi and wiggle the Anker out. good thing I just leave these chargers plugged in.

Xiaomi next to AC cable to figure 8 laptop brick
again both fully in, no gap. but there is really not much space to spare, I could probably fit a few pieces of paper between where they look like they are touching.

I checked and the Ugreen 100W which similarly looks the same shape and like it blocks ports either side is 5mm wider than Xiaomi. I think this might make the Ugreen to not be able to be fully in for situations above.

  • Was waiting for the AU plug version to go on sale, thanks

  • Is it 67W on both ports when charging simultaneously?

  • This same store used to sell this on their ebay store, not sure what happened.
