  • I always worry about the battery life of AA batteries.
    Because rechargeable AA batteries are not safe to use in the transmitter.

      • Yep,though only unsafe as in helicopter will fall out if the sky prematurely and hit someone on the head

        Rechargeable don't have high enough voltage,
        So are a bit flakey
        Yup rechargeable is 1.2v….alkaline is 1.5v
        Cheap remotes don't handle the lower voltage well

        • I thought the reason was it is unsafe to use rechargeable batteries in the transmitter due to its design.
          If it does not cause "explosion" in transmitter, then I think will give it a try.
          The manual of the helicopter I bought a while ago said "DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES".
