        It's been suspiciously appearing and disappearing for a while now - it was there a few days ago.

        Worth noting that if you get one before the end of the month, you can redeem $6 credit from the play store - so it might actually be better to get one from a shop, since online won't deliver in time anyways.

    Is the code not working for anyone else?
    I just ordered a new MacBook Pro with the code but realised I forgot to order a Ethernet adaptor but the code didn't work…(the second time)

      same here. the code works when on the 1st place, but after clicked check out, the discount didn't show up.

      BUT, I just realized there is no point to buy it online as you have to around $5 delivery fee(in total around $34), why not pick it up from shop, it's cheaper haha

    I just bought two mac minis, mice and keyboards, the transaction went through on my credit card, AND NOW THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY ORDER!

    They cancelled my order twice as well! Ordered a MacBook Pro yesterday for $2700 and it was cancelled. Spent 2 hours on the phone today trying to get through and they told me to order it again, and it's just been cancelled again for the second time! What a joke!

      I spent 55 minutes trying to get through…. If I have to hear that stupid hold music again I will scream…. Out of interest what time did you call them? I suspect there was ONE person in the entire call centre.

      I have ordered one through the apple education store. I would've ordered it for the third time but the lady said it may be cancelled AGAIN because their automated detector may detect the same address etc. Of course the payment takes (up to) 4 hours to go through and they close at 2pm on a Sunday So I gave up.

        I called up in the morning around 10.30-11sh and got disconnected after almost an hour waiting, and then called up again around 1pm and finally got through just before the call centre shut at 2pm. I feel sorry for the poor woman working there, she must have copped a lot of flack today. But if she knew that their system was having so many problems she probably shouldn't have been telling people to reorder. Totally agree about the hold music - I'll probably have nightmares about it tonight :-p

          I must've been just behind you in the que when I called around 11:30… I was on hold for a good 55 minutes. I already hated the music from yesterday but the music combined with a hangover was not nice at all…. I felt sorry enough for the woman not to get annoyed with her about the wait time. Dick smith needs to employee more people in it's call centre and also do these deals during the week so there is someone in HQ who can call the credit card service provider and sort out the issues.

    Called up Southland DSE and asked if the Macs were on sale in store and the guy said yes, they just have 3 models in stock ( 2012 model, 13inch base retina and 13inch 2.6ghz retina) so all of you guys should call up to check!
