  Haven't done newsgroups in a while. I remember articles missing on Astra all the time. Care to give a pointer as to where I can get content (NZBs) from? Thanks

    Apparently the big go-tos at the moment are Dognzb.cr and NZB.su

    They're both invite only, but you can often pick up invites here

  I've subscribed the 25GB $8 block account (not part of the deal) to give ngd a try.

  Unfortunately still unable to find series I'm looking for, I suspect due to dmca, are you experiencing the same?

    With old shows, sure not uncommon, especially for any highwinds reseller, which is what NGD is. It will depend on the show (do not mention it here).
    I had to use my back up from Astra to get a show that was posted 49 days ago. This is rare, but it does happen. Just one more reason to set up a program like Sick Beard or NZBDrone to get shows quickly and automatically when they are posted.
    Conversely I have grabbed plenty of old shows that are a couple of years old with no issue.
    This is why you always have two providers, a cheaper one like NGD for 95% of your use, and a more expensive one that is more reliable.

      I've been using thundernews, and now ngd, both not giving good results so far, I might try astra now…

        Some find Astra crap, I have had no real issues. Some swear by Tewaknews.
