How is this a deal? Everything is of miniature size.

    • +4

The potato & gravy and chips are regular size. They cost over $5 themselves

      • +2

Swap the potato and gravy for more chips or bigger drink if you want.

        • +3

Can you exchange the 250mL Drink for anything?

        • +69

Yes in QLD you exchange it for air.

        • +5

          That sounds f"air"

        • +4

That's because if it ain't XXXX it ain't worth drinkin…

      • Not sure about elsewhere but here in melbourne, KFC "regular" chips in any combo meal are less than a macca's small, its retarded.

    • +23

At least they don't make a burger smaller & smaller every year, and still call it a big Mac!

      • +1

No, KFC call it the zinger.

      • +1

KFC do reduce burger size. Perhaps I only noticed because I rarely buy KFC. The "original chicken fillet burger" is (at my estimate) only about 60% of the size it was a few years ago. It has become so small in fact, that before I'd even opened it, I thought I'd gotten someone else's order.

  • mmm kfc for breakfast

    • deal starts from noon iirc

      • +1

I just woke up at 4pm - so it's breakfast for me!

        • -1

Hahaha, have dinner for breakfast, supper for for lunch and breakfast for dinner. Epic level of jet lag for the win!

  • Does this mean no more twelve for $12 deal?

    • Yep, no more 12 for $12!

    • +1

      Still available in Sydney.

  • Crap… I'm allergic to the wing.

  • -8

the kfc $5 boxes just keep getting worse….

      • +4

In 2016 you won't get the box

        • +1

And in 2017 you get an empty box.

        • +2

I went to KFC the other day and it came in a paper bag

        • +2

          @sk3iron:

Probably for you to throw up afterwards on how bad it was lol

      • +1

I like how you included the "Except for QLD" part :P
Dont know why KFC hates Queenslanders

    • Yeah Zfan. How can it be getting worse and what box are you comparing it to?

  • I just love it saids (except QLD).

    Just, one state… hahaha.

    • +2

Didn't realise KFC was a Bloody Blues Supporters

    • KFC don't own any stores. I think the QLD stores are owned by a different company than the guy who owns NSW and all the other states

  • +1

    KFC for lunch every day?

Why not just jump off a cliff?

    • +1

But what are you gonna chew on, on the way down?

  • I can't find any mention of the drink being excluded from the deal in QLD. Can someone confirm?

    • +2

      there's no drink listed here

    • The TV ads don't mention the drink in Qld.

  • +1

WTF no Qld thats discriminatory. Lets sue KFC.

    • Class action law suit from the hoard of angry QLD ozbargainers ?
      Anyone know a cheap lawyer?

  • Contains more than 2100 calories? No way.

    • Pepsi max instead? Or water?

      • Just because its low calarie and sugar free doesn't mean the chance of a heart attack reduces. There has been studies which link "sugar" replacement drinks to same chance or higher chance of heart attack versus the normal version of the drink.

        • +2

          [citation needed]

    • +2

Website says 3100kj and doesn't include a sugary drink.

Not sure where you get 2100 calories.

  • +1

a great deal if you want an extremely un-healthy lunch :/

  • Ahh the original lunch box; heaps better than the recent hot rods box that was available anyway.

    • Really? I used to combine the hot rods box with a survey/free chips and drink and was in heaven!

    • +1

The hot rods were great. My daughter who doesn't like KFC loved it.

  • This is a great snack ^_^

  • must…resist

  • For 50c more you can upsize to any 375ml can drink.

    • You can also pay even more for the 600ml bottle. I recall it wasn't much more.

  • +1

OHHH…Why do all the good food deals happen when I am fasting!

  • -3

    i'll just leave this here.

  • Anyone ever have any luck switching up the potato gravy for a coleslaw?

    • I up sized the chips and they kept the potato and gravy.

  • +2

I went to the Belmont NSW store, and they had no knowledge of this. I ended up buying the 2 piece streetwise feed at $5.95 (Though Charlestown charges $6.95 for the same thing).

    • +1

Oh really? Yeah I went to the Morisset store today and they had no knowledge of it either.

Bought this meal yesterday by drive thru and got an invitation on the back of the receipt to do an online feedback.
Once done, write down the voucher code from the website for a free small chips and a can of soft drink.
Used the coupon today so for $5 I got an extra can and a small chips. Not bad for $5.
Now off to do some cycling to work off the extra calories.

  • I had this today as a cheat meal. Quite good. For five bucks, it's worth it.

  • They don't do it at Rosny Park, Tasmania.

    I got all excited.

  • This has expired mods (at least in Queensland anyway).

  • Expired in Sydney
