  • Becoming more and more exclusive :( no blaq this time around and the men's stuff can be found at the outlets for 70% off..

    • +4 votes

Agreed. But that doesn't stop my wife wanting to go :(

      • Same, same. My lovely wife has been saving me money, attends to all the BS EOFY sales. :(

      • ONLY if our wives know a website called OZBARGAIN……we could all save thousands.

…………………while we spend those thousands here!

    • Even the staff discount on these brands isnt often better than this, still worthwhile, we also don't have factory outlets in Perth other than the ordinary Myer's.

  • As long as they have Sprout. Thanks.

  • Damn no bauhaus this time. Otherwise not a bad deal

  • Original price with 200% mark up.

  • +1 vote

I like this because it includes other brands that aren't "Myer Exclusive Brands" such as Easy Steps and Jane Debster.. it's normally very hard to get a good deal on some of those labels, even though the Friends and Families offers roll around pretty frequently.

  • Last time I tried to use an F&F offer, they wouldn't give me 50% off because there was an existing sale :(

    • Normally, it should be at least either/or. i.e. they shouldn't have stopped you using it, but likely wouldn't have combined it.

  • Does anyone know if this will stack with the '2 for $100' deals on Van Husen business shirts?

    • Officially, no.

"If another offer scans up in conjunction with the MEB 50% Family and Friends offer then please override back to the permanent/ticket price and then take a Manual Item discount."

    • Not sure where you live but Trade Secret usually has LOTS of Van Huesen shirts on their racks. I know 'cause I have like 10 of their slim fit that I bought for work.

      • Only good if they have your size. The one @ Spencer Street DFO has horrible colours or are for extreme fatties in my experience.

        • I just started a new job close by there and am an extreme fatty so I will have to check it out! Myer at Highpoint had some Van Heusen shirts at 50% off and others at 3 for $100 last week.

  • Nice! Can do with a new jacket.

  • I'm going to check out the following items in person and see if they match up to my expectations. I could be way off on this but from what I can see, these are good to great prices on any? equivalent of these items.

    http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/103409/23715/family_fri...

You can see Vue is listed under the Homewares category and the exclusions are at the very bottom.

    I'm looking at

    http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/home/kitchen/au-vue-gran... $26.20 after discount

Those things are expensive usually I think because they are so heavy. I was looking in Wheel N Barrow (Canberra City) the other day and even their small ones were $35+. On google at a glance the cheapest is AU$33 and ugly.

Either this cutting board http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/home/kitchen/au-vue-rubb... $21 after discount. This is probably pretty heavy

or this cutting board http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/home/kitchen/au-vue-bamb... $10.50 after discount. 40cm x 20cm?minimum bamboo of this size and this price is good I think.

Kitchen scales? http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/home/vue-167124--1/featu... $9 after discount. *Need to see in-store if they have a tare button and feel for general quality..

    http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/home/bed-bath/bathroom-a... $20 after discount

I've looked on ebay and these things seem to beat the cheapest prices on there by at least a little if not a lot. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? Not an expensive brand but these are all items I need and I feel like these prices are good. Please prove me wrong so I can save more money on any of these

    Thanks

    edit

I'll also be paying with ING and claiming the paywave cashback which added in I estimate to end up to be a total of AU$82.55 or so

    • I think you are going to be disappointed by reading this but none of the discounted prices you mentioned above are true. If you read the offer carefully, its "50% off ORIGINAL prices", while the prices you mentioned are all 50% off discounted prices.

      • awwwwww. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I could swear I wasn't seeing the Was and Now last night. You're right, I am disappointed :/

  •

They only include the overpriced crap in these 'sales'

  • I bought some Trent Nathan business pants last time, much better quality then the reserve/Blaq pants and at 50% off they are a reasonable (but not cheap) price.

  • Couldn't post til now but I was already able to use it today in Brisbane. Thanks Op

  • I'll be getting some Calvin klein jocks.

  • Thanks OP got myself some shiny new shoes

  • Basque and Blaq sunglasses have been 50% off already and still are. Voucher useless.

  • I have just been to Myer. Lots of items are already reduced and reduced price is not eligible for the voucher. Only FULL price items are eligible. And Children's clothing Eve's sister didn't get 50% off like it says on the deal. The register didnt give me any discount for Eve's sister even after the staff repeatedly scanned the voucher. That being said, thank you OP for posting the deal here :)

  • I got comprehensively Ozbargained yesterday! Been looking to replace a wool vest that went through the wrong wash cycle and wont stretch out… came out with a vest, 4 wool jumpers and 2 shirts!!
