Paper! A4! What more can I say..? $3.20 that's cheap! Limited 10 reams per customer. I think normally they are $5ish.

    They price matched woolies. I went 1st day within an hour of officeworks opening. The old ticket price still everywhere, but when I checked out it was $16 a box.

      They do this so that they don't lose out from the 5% price beat. However, I reckon they lose more money this way as there's a lot more people who don't know about the discounted reams at Woolworths.

        Depends on the wholesale price they pay for the paper. If they are paying $15.50 for the paper, then selling for $16 means 50 cents profit for each box, and they'll sell out quickly, limiting the damage.

        If they don't drop their price, the "5% better" guarantee means they will be selling at 95% of $16 = $15.20, a loss of 30c per box.

          When I say losing money, I mean losing potential profit. However, my point still stands. If out of 5 people, 4 people purchase at regular price of $20 and 1 person purchases with 5% price beat at $15.20, then the average would come out as $19.04. Officeworks would lose even less profit this way.

      I can confirm that Reflex looks like recycled paper compared to Double A Paper.

      Double A is whiter and feels thicker that any other 80gsm paper I've encountered.

      I looked closely at reflex and both the Fuji xerox professional and LaserPrint types. They were all much of muchness in whiteness, strength and even holding up to the light looking at the small clumpy bits. Pretty darn similar I found.
