    Way cheaper an Amazon.
    Either plus $ 25.98 shipping or free if you order over $150 (if that deal is still on…?)

        Same product regardless of stock. I believe your business model is flawed.

        Ha ha ha, its not like they need a power adapter or something, boots are boots.

        good point, just in case we need to make a warranty claim right?! lol

    Made in China, Thailand, UK … other?

    • I am pretty sure that are made in Thailand.

      • +2

        I am pretty sure that are made in Thailand.

        As you say these are "AU stock". Why don't you just look inside a pair, and then confirm if they are made in China or Thailand?

  • I've got these boots. Best ever. Mine are made in China. Not a bad price. Local shops have them at $220 last I saw.

      Good on you! I am pretty sure the price we are offering is the CHEAPEST in AU.

        No one cares. Online shopping makes this irrelevant.

        • Not when if there are any problems though, it becomes very costly to return.

          @au-topshop:

          bought so many doc martin shoes online where here they cost around $200 and paid sub $100. Good shoes but the markup here in aus is insane. Shoes are will never be a problem especially Docs. Even electronic goods I've had no problems, this argument of warranty was done and dusted along time ago.

          To be fair to the StoreRep. When they said:-
          "Not when if (sic) there are any problems though, it becomes very costly to return."
          I think they meant if the online buyer purchased the wrong size by mistake.

          @A3Australia:

          No this tactic was used to scare people away from online shopping (for all items). If your that concerned try it on and then buy online but most people know their shoe size unless your a kid and still growing.

        • -3

          @A3Australia: That is right! We had a customer who bought a pair of Doc. from States, but the shoes were too big. It would cost her over $50.00 on postage just to return them, so she ended up sold them on ebay, and then bought another pair from us.
          Of course, if you can try them out in stores then place an order, it is normally quite safe.
          cheers!

          Perhaps, but not in this case.

          If your that concerned try it on and then buy online but most people know their shoe size unless your a kid and still growing.

          Firstly, unless this is in Kmart etc. where staff are not involved in serving you and retrieving shoes for you to try on, I do not agree with this practice.

          Secondly, even when one knows their 'normal' shoe size, sizes and 'fit' can vary between brands and even 'styles' of shoes. Case in point, my first pairs of Skechers. I ordered size 9.5 - the same size as my Timberland shoes. It turned out that I needed size 10. Luckily I was able to re-sell them immediately, and re-order in size 10.

          I will not do this in 'full-service' stores. It is not fair on the business, they have to pay staff etc.

          @au-topshop: It's pretty despicable of you to recommend trying out in a bricks and mortar store before then buying from you.

        • +1

          @au-topshop: What the hell. Rep is saying don't buy from overseas in case the size is wrong and you need to send back, then suggests trying shoes in a store before ordering!?. Which means there is no disadvantage if buying from Amazon link up top Which is cheaper. No deal.
