Presentation looks good but data source is questionable. If it ain't from BoM or www.yr.no then more or less a guide than actual forecast.

According to maaogixt (a reviewer on iTunes), the weather for Australia is way out, definitely not taken from bom.gov.au data.

In other words, you might as well use a weather rock - it will be as accurate ;)

  • Deleted it within 5 minutes of use. Might be my aging iPad3, but it was laggy and crashed a couple of times. Nice infographics but over-complicating what really is quite simple. As above poster mentioned, data source is questionable. No better than native weather information provided by Yahoo.

  • good deal, but its been free a couple of times now… just saying.

Might be New York Times pick… but for Australia check out Pocket Weather. Uses BoM, and very simple to use. Intuitive and you can call up extra info if you want with a flick to the left or right.

I paid for this a few years back and its spot on for Canberra and Sydney weather (at least as spot on as weather forecasting can be!)

I normally dont buy apps… but I bought this!

Just looked it up on app store… first aussie app ever made for our weather 5 years ago now.
    For Australia, by Australians!

    Nice spiel :).

    • This. Have pocket weather and love it!

  • Weatherzone Plus is still the best weather app.
