Do you know they only put half a slice of cheese in the fillet-o-fish? They probably do the same in the cheeseburger.
1/2 for Filet-O-Fish and always one slice for cheeseburgers, never seen anyone use half.

I am in the ACT and was asked if I wanted a $1 cheeseburger with my meal, this was around 3pm today.
That's always been the case if you buy a large meal. You don't have to for this promotion though.

I take that back, we went down to get 4 burgers that's $5 ( $1 for the petrol ). The wife took 1 bite and done. I have to finish 2 in 1 go, thanks God it went down alright, take into account that i haven't eat Mccus for more than 3yrs.

Nope these are as cheep as you'll get them.
10:1 (big mac, cheeseburger, ect meat) costs 90c alone.
You'll have to fork out an extra bit of $$$ for the ketchup, mustard, small onion, pickle and cheese. The cheese being 50c.
You can however make many things out of the $1 cheeseburger.
Such as a double cheeseburger by combining them. A double beef n bacon by adding bacon to the double cheeseburger. That'll set you back $2.50.

Just snagged four at Hindley Street Maccas, smashed two down on the walk back then gave one to a workmate and said I only bought two.
(Our office is quite judgmental about fast food…usually a good disincentive to buy it but my OzBargain instincts had to kick in for $1 a pop)

Trust me it's not a good idea, I think I was satisfied after the second one. I waited a little and finished the 3rd, half way through my 4th I was pretty much over it, but finished only so I didn't waste the bargain.
I also spent $3 on a coke to wash that all down, so that watered down the bargain a little.
You know its only $1 for a frozen coke? A true ozbargainer would have bought that and waited for it to melt rather than spending $3 on a normal coke.

I got at Maccas at 1.00PM. Took me until 1.04 before they took my order. They refused to sell me at $1 saying they are told to stop exactly ay 1PM
Lesson learned…. get there earlier.
