      Thanks TA. You don't need to look for the pdf offered by Amazon.

      I have just downloaded Windows 8 for Dummies on my desktop. Copied to the microSD card on the Android tablet and then transferred to the Internal storage/kindle.

      Fire up the Kindle App and the pdf book is there, ready to be read!

  Thanks a million for the direct links.

  3 out of 4 of these ebooks are written by companies with their own agenda.

  So I would not expect to find impartial advice in there for dummies like us.

  They give away these corporate sponsored for dummies books like lollipops at trade shows and conferences.

    Agreed however in the case of the eCommerce book at least it's probably going to be an good guide if you elect to use Volusion to host your store (not a bad choice if you want a hassle free solution) and you're probably going to get some pointers should you decide to use other similar services (eg. BigCommerce, Shopify etc).

    They have a vested interest in presenting you with good information with regards to Volusion or else you're more likely to cancel your subscription with them.
