    Expires 31 August 2014

I was hoping these would have a longer life than the last tickets.

    • Serious? I have four accounts each with 95 tokens ready to pop but if it had an Aug 2014 expiry date then also no deal. I have about 40 tickets from the Hoyts Chadstone $2 deal to go through until Nov 2014.

Can anyone else confirm the Aug 2014 expiry date?

      • +2

        I can confirm 31st August 2014.

        • Damn, thanks Carl. In the past the message on the Coke site says some short timeframe but usually get a six month one once I get the voucher. Was hoping that would be the case again.

      • Erm, 40 tickets to get through by Nov 2014 dazza-H? If that is true, then I can 'confirm' that you will need to be giving some away to your mates before they expire. Preferably soon, to give them a bit of time to actually plan/use them. I mean, do the maths.

        • Me plus wife equals 20 movies each. Basically one a week. Although I had posted on OzB for people to make sure that the Chadstone (VIC) cinema be marked as the home one on the Hoyts membership as there were going to be giveaways, I never expected that Hoyts would give every account a free double pass. :-)

  • in that case no deal :X

  • mine just said Maximum Redemptions Reached…i havent redeemed any in like 3 months wtf

    • Yeah, it counted the ones from my last redemption. This and the same expiry date makes me think they are counting it as the same reward being re offered.

"Please note: There is a limit of 4 redemptions per person for the availability of this Reward."

  • :/

  • When are we going to be able to get more?

The Gold Class eVoucher is a poor use of 1100 tokens for a $39.50 ticket.

  • I have 950 right now but saving up for a ps4 which is 9700. Lol. 97 weeks here I come!

    • The world will probably have ended by then, eye-cyst.

    • Isn't JB's $200 gift card for 4000 a better deal?

Thank you LHSolutions for the code, I love this community. :)

  • The limit sux
They should reset it from last time

    • Just create multiple accounts and load up with tokens. Don't forget to get the free survey tokens.

      • hehe :)

      • new to coke rewards. what is the survey tokens?

        • Full in a quick survey and you get 10 free points

  • Dammit, only 5 short. Any chance anyone would spare a code? Will return when I get one.

    • Have you done the survey yet? or connect to facebook? Both option give you 10 points for free.

    • Sent you one to try, hope it works

      • Thanks sparkles, and also LHSolutions.

  • I've stopped drinking Coke but I still got enough labels to collect two. Yippee.

Free movies = cool. Short expiry = not so cool

  • seems to have sold out, dang

    • Yep, it's gone.

  • i missed out :( ive ysed my last nunch i been wasting for ages

Damn I was asleep during this deal! Oh well till next time.

  • Still surprised that it ran out so quick as I would have thought most people would have used up a lot of their tokens for things like the Myer/JB gift cards.

Hopefully there will be another Hoyts splurge soon (with no incredibly short timeframe).

  • I think plenty of people are hoarding points over a number of accounts waiting for the best redemption's.

    • Given that multiple accounts are actively stripped of tokens, I wouldn't be so sure that plenty of people have a number of accounts.

      • As long as you register them in your families names, no problem.

        • My dog likes getting free movie tickets.

        • @sparkles: The dog has to be over 13 years of age.

I just redeemed two from this url: https://www.cokerewards.com.au/rewards/hoyts-movie-e-voucher…

(redeemed three a couple of months back, so try again even if you've used up your four)

    • Thanks!

We need to consider re-posting this up as a new deal as the re-issueing of the deal with better expiry date will be missed by too many people. I seriously would have missed this if I had not fluked and saw it on the front page before it was removed as a dupe.

    • +2

I agree. The chump who flagged this as a duplicate is missing the point OF OzBargain. MORON.

      • Yeah, the other deal was legit and not a duplicate as per rules and guideline as well.
This deal was for a different ticket with different expiry date. And it was already expired.
A lot of people will miss out on this.

      • I modified this deal to reflect the new URL, however I did not realise that the expiry date of the tickets was different, otherwise I would not have done it. Having made the change though, any later deal posting is technically a duplicate.
