  • Great Ocean Road Fresh Milk

What might a dairy in NSW call its milk ?

    Great Western Highway Milk ?

    • Nah… mainly sheep off the GWH

  • Thanks OP! Didn't know Devondale does milk too.

buy Aldi skim milk powder and water it down. it tastes fresher and has a more consistent nicer flavour than "fresh" liquid milk that has probably been sitting unrefrigerated in a disgusting hot grimy supermarket loading dock (and the bottles always seem to leak, which means invisible nasties like germs, bacteria and exhaust fumes can get in too.. yuck! don't feed that to your children!!!).

aldi powdered milk is low in fat and naturally high in A2 proteins. more convenient too. made in Australia from delicious wholesome Australian milk. yummmo!!! only 45¢/litre.

    :)

    • Whether it's voodoo or not, I'm one of those who believe in the A2 hype; gonna go check this out at Aldi's tonight, thanks!

    • Thanks for the advise, I'll get skim milk powder from Aldi next time for my cookie baking.

Personally I don't like drinking anything reconstituted, they always taste different. You say 'fresher', I say 'different'. Skim milk tends to be lighter so that may contribute to the idea of 'fresher'.

Coming from a single household in VIC, buying GOR milk or Devondale milk is better because they have longer shelf life.

I've no issues with A1 milk so pretty meh with the whole A2 thing. I prefer going organic on my milk instead, just have to find somewhere I can buy some locally.
