These aren't listed on the Dan Murphy's website yet (they didn't even have the price on the shelf at Dan Murphy's Norwood), but I picked up one of these 'gift packs' there today (happy beerday to me) for $25.

You get a nice Spiegelau beer glass (IPA), which was apparently developed with the help of Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada breweries, and retails at David Jones for ~$40 for two.

You also get three Bridge Road Bling IPA's, which are nice American style IPA's that (I think) usually sell for around $25 to $30 for a six pack, so $25 for this pack is a pretty decent deal. Maybe not the bargain of a lifetime, but a pretty good deal for lovers of real beer.

The glass is a bit wacky looking, but I think it's pretty great and will probably pick up at least one more. Its design agitates the beer as you drink it and keeps the head and aroma going strong down to the last sip.

  Considering craft bottles are at least $5-8 each this isn't a bad deal. I inspected this glass at the Good Food Wine Show a few weeks back, the glass is nice, my concern was how thin it was so be careful washing. Thanks for the post!

    The glass is pretty fantastic, imo, in fact I think it may well be my new favourite beer glass (and believe me, I've tried more than a few!).

    As you say, you may need to be a tad careful when washing it, but that goes for most quality glassware, and there are certainly many much more delicate glasses out there than this one.
