Coffee Maker for $5 @ Kmart Queanbeyan (NSW)

50

Kmart Queanbeyan has a Coffee Maker for $5. I think its a clearance item so it might only be for this Kmart.

Capacity is 10 cups (1.25 Litres).

Entirely made of plastic except for the glass coffee pot.

For the price of a cup of coffee you can buy this machine. Not bad for a cheapie to use in the workplace.

    1 cup = 250ml?

      Small cups have 125 ml

      • LOL. I think you're right. I've one of those coffee cups which have a handle so tiny that I can barely fit my finger through it.

        • put ur finger at the right places and you won't have any issues.

        Standard measurement is 250

        • For a glass, yes. A typical mug isnt that much.

        • @Jackson: once again, a cup is 250ml:

    NSW?

    • Yep, sure is.

Yes, technically the title should be Queanbeyan (NSW). I first submitted this as Queanbeyan without mentioning the state. I think a moderator might have added the state as A.C.T. I'm fine with it since most business websites list their Queanbeyan branches as A.C.T.

Besides, in 20 years time Canberra is going to grow over the border and become Queanbeyan anyways. Mwahahahaha

  • I have one of these. Very basic but does do the job reasonably quickly. I'm not fussy about my coffee, I'm just after the caffeine hit in the mornings. Not too sure how long its gonna last with everything being plastic except the glass pot.

    • "just after the caffeine hit"

Then just swallow a dry spoon of instant and chase it with a glass of water. Probably taste not much worse than drip.

  • What's the difference between this and a French press? In terms of the coffee quality
