    Actually a magnificent phone!

    Er lack of other details.
Dual core (is it a dual or quad?)
    No microSD slot
    2200mah battery

    http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2014/05/motorola-moto-x-australian…

Seems to have a quad core GPU and two other processors for other things going by the review (says 8 in total). Lack of MicroSD is a downer for me. Rest of phone is ok. Funny how they left all those details out JB….(review also says camera is so-so)

    • Dual core CPU, quad core GPU (even though this means basically nothing), a processor to handle the always-listening voice recognition, and a processor to handle contextual information (position, orientation, stuff like that). I wouldn't really expect JB Hi Fi to go into all this, though.

The CPU/GPU are now verging on three(-ish) generations superseded though (S4 Pro > S600 > S800(801) > S805, Adreno 320 > 320v2 > 330 > 420). Not a problem for most, and it's a great performer regardless of specs… but it is getting a bit dated. If it were $100 cheaper I'd consider getting it for a backup phone / to play with, but not for today, I think.

  • not sure if The Good Guys eBay store would list this in Toy category lol, 20% off :)

    • LG G2 on your list?

      • I can add that and the Z1 as well.

  • I got the g2 mini, quite nice
