TigerAir is currently running a Christmas in July Sale. Can't recall seeing SYD/PER fares this cheap ever.

I've highlighted what I feel are the best fares in the title, but check the link for other specials.

All fares quoted above are ONE WAY. Just double the price for return fares.

      When Jetstar squeeze Tiger out of the market completely with their price match policy, we'll all be paying FAR more to fly.

      If you want low fares to remain an option, fly with the company offering them.

    You get what you pay for.
    My Tiger flight crashed into the tug on the runway (how the fk?!) on Thursday night.
    No taxi fares, or accommodation provided unless you do not live in the departing city.

    Perhaps try to price match with jetstar for a better experience.

      My flight went around twice on landing seemed the pilot froze or had a panic attack or something. Maybe there was a mechanical failure bc it got more and more erratic.
      Ended up with a huge band and thump type landing third time round. Pilot seemed very sh!t at flying.

          He was a funny guy - had them upside down as "d" plates. Also seemed to be tailgating other planes and playing doof.

      You don't get shit with Jetstar either. Last week my friend was flying to HK via Singapore. Flight to Singapore was delayed 2 hours so he would miss his connection (which was booked on the same ticket in the same transaction). Jetstar told him tough shit, he was forced to book a full price Qantas fare to get him to Singapore on time, and Jetstar wouldn't even give him credit for his first flight.

      Just came back yesterday from 4 tigerair flights in 4 days (SYD-MEL-HBA-MEL-SYD) and had no issues except for the first SYD-MEL flight that got cancelled 11pm the night before. Quick call to rebook for an earlier flight (no charge) and everything else was fine.

      You will rarely, if ever, get sale fares over the Christmas period…this has been the case ever since man started offering rides for money (by horse and buggy).

      I've noticed that some ADL-MEL flights outside the travel period (around 15th December) are only $30. I got one of these two weeks ago for $45. Might be worth searching for other routes.

          Yes, it took almost 45 minutes to get mine booked (I had some q's) but scored a flight to PER for $85.50 with no booking fees!

    Hey TA, also the $95 MEL PER is a fantastic price- rarely this cheap. I did bag MEL PER for $9 in 2013 using a JQ price beat when TT had a network wide $10 sale. But even at $95 this is a great deal

    Flew 8-10 flights with tiger (coffs <-> sydney) so far this year, no problems yet.
    Will be buying a flight in Nov.

    Bagged flights from perth to Brisbane via Sydney for half of what Qantas was going to cost . Got a direct flight back via Virgin . The return flights with Virgin were $25 cheaper via cheapoair than booking direct through virgins website .$450 via Tiger ( selected seats and baggage with a 5hour stop over in Sydney using the $100 off voucher from a while ago ) and $750 return direct to Perth with Virgin .
    Have been waiting a while for cheap flights and was ready to pull the trigger as it only gets dearer and dearer the longer you leave it . The Perth - Brisbane route is rarely discounted especially since jetstar pulled the pin on this route .

    Just booked SYD-MEL return including front section seats on both flights and food + queue jump one way for exactly $100, or free after using the voucher :)

    Was going to book a melbourne to hobart flight, returning on labour day, but looks like tiger are onto it and are charging $49 instead of $30. I could have sworn when i was looking at it yesterday that it was still $30.
