Meh I picked one up at the Tefal warehouse sale for $49.

  • I bought this for my wife a few weeks ago from Myer for the same price, apparently I've been a hero ever since getting it for her :)

      But what does it do?

      • +1

Steams minute items of clothing so they are wrinkle free and lovely and fresh.

Yeah as rodericb has said, and apparently it "freshens up" clothing too. And someone else told me that I can more or less do my own dry cleaning with it.

    or order online directly: http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/tefal-minute-garment-ste…

Add a $1 item for free delivery to your door.

I cant recommend garment steamers enough - they are an awesome 'refresher' and allow you to go longer between dry cleans on things like suits etc.

    • Personal preference but my philips steamer has sat idle since purchasing the Tefal GV7470 Steam Station Iron. They semi regularly have the $100 cash back on the model so can be had for around the $180 mark all up.

Using it as a steamer on suit pants works much better than the bulk of the cheaper steamers on the market.

  • How does this compare to the one at Aldi?

Marty I've just returned from the future and I can tell you the Tefal is superior!!

      • Thanks, just got Harvey Norman to price match/beat ($95)

  • Would this be able to replace the iron at home?

  • I have this type of tefal http://www.tefal.com.au/All+Products/Linen+Care/Steam+statio… and am looking for something to iron my business shirts easily. Will the garment steamer do it quickly? I am not concerned about real crisp output but enough to remove the wrinkles. The product I have does it way better than normal irons but I still need to put the shirt on the ironing board properly so as not to make the other side wrinkled with using the steam iron.

  • I have one of these and love it! Steam clean everything in my house. Refresh pillows and doonas inbetween washes. Also I tie a face washer around the head to clean the bathroom mirror quickly when i have it going
