I've found all these chargers can sometimes be unreliable - but when I'm out of gas the Brando I keep charged with me the when I need to boost the ultra from 5% to 50% quickly I just continue on my day with it on back. I'd also say buy and charge 5 x keyring power banks and then just use those to topup. Only thing I miss from my note 2 having spare batteries to locknnload. Another reason if I got a phone today couldn't say no to the LG G3!
I ended up ordering a brando case. Couldn't justify almost $130 for the Mugen one! I re-read the brando description and I think what they meant by not charging at the same time was not to plug a charger into the phone and another charger into the case and turn both on at the same time!
These seem like the iphone cases which I'm not familar with - are you able to leave the battery case on all the time and deplete both batteries together? When charging is it ok to leave the case on and charge via the case input jack, thus charging both the phone and case?
Also how long did your brando order take to arrive? I've had to be very careful with my z ultra so far because of how awkwardly thin and big it is! Hopefully the case will make it eaiser to hold.
Rang a few Harvey Norman stores but they wouldn't price match as its too low. One store salesman said phone MSY was selling was a different version mentioning its a 4G lite version? @$^^&^/£€%? I said LTE is acronym for 4G but the guy kept telling me it means 4G lite and hes been working in mobile industry for more than 10 years… Last word he said was look up on wiki and just hung up saying hes busy…

Don't ever try with Hardly Normal, dick smith or the good guys, they will try to tell you bullshit and avoid you. The common answer is " no I can't do it, our price can't go down any further " why? " because it's our base cost, if we sell lower, we make a loss" …. Somebody if have time try to report them to ACCC please…
Whether they make a loss or not is totally irrelevant if they advertise a policy to price match. Just excuses for avoiding THEIR obligations under THEIR advertised policy.
everytime I say it, they avoid me. Some manager even challenged me to call ACCC…

No, because TGG doesn't stock it in their brick and mortar stores. AFAIK, it's only availible online.
OK, I tried to do a price match with The Good Guys Online, and they said that MSY definitely is stocking grey imports. So they won't price match it. However the refund was quick and painless.
You should ask them how they know. Did they actually buy from them and check? Or was their price just too good?
I did ask them but the rep said they were grey imports, and had other people calling them about this as well. I didn't press, but if I had read what jaykay said I would have.
Also, the refund process has been horrible. Three days and my money is still on hold. I'm tempted to reverse the charge since I want to buy it from MSY ASAP.Of course the refund comes in today, just as MSY has run outta stock for the Xperia Z1 -_-

Msy is not a grey import , I bought a ultra. It has the Australian charging plug in the box…
Does anyone have any experience with ordering these phones from msy? I ordered one last night and it says its processing, id like to pick it up ASAP and would have to travel to do so but im not sure if it is out of stock, or what. If it says in stock, does that usually mean its in stock in the store? or in stock in a warehouse somewhere?
Also, if its not Australian stock, does it mean its not an Australian warranty and would it include a tax invoice? Can anyone confirm?
MSY sells AU stock so you will get a tax invoice with GST included in the total if you want to claim GST back. For warranty best deal directly with Sony as I heard MSY has next to zero after sales customer services.
If you want to pick up why don't call the store and find out if you can do so instead of guessing here if the phone is in the warehouse or in the display cabinet in the store?

Was on the phone about 10 minutes to them, saying ive been place in the queue then at the last minute saying the staff cant take my call. I understand theyre busy but its a bit annoying to wait 10 minutes to find that out. Not as easy as it sounds to just call them.
