Happy with the Chippewa boots I got with the last coupon. Quality shoes are so expensive here.

  • +1

Blah spent ages trying to get the discount to work, there are heaps of restrictions and the item must be shipped by amazon themselves…

    • +3

Easily fixed by clicking 1 option - amazon global eligible on the left. Add to cart and get shipping quote. If it gives you quote your good to go, otherwise it tells you some items cant be shipped to your location.

    • Hmm, as a test I added a global eligible shoe and proceded to checkout. Discount wouldnt apply. Will talk to amazon help team and see what they say, they have been really helpful in the past.

      • Do you know how to work out 20% off with a calculator? I'm not being sarcastic. Some people really aren't that smart.

Okay had a chat with bryan http://i.imgur.com/ywYticA.jpg
He went on to say after I told him other people here had a problem using the code that he would escalate the problem with the leadership team, so who knows what the outcome will be.

place the order and he will adjust the price as suggested…

      • -1

Like I said I wanted to see the price before I purchased, is that so unreasonable?

        • I understand where your coming from but just do the maths or as suggested above, place an order with a rep. Remember, Amazon does not charge your credit card until your order ships so you can quickly check the invoice to get the price of each item and cancel the order if you are not happy. Just a side note, I had a rep placed an order for me a few months ago for a different coupon code and he gave me free standard shipping. =)

  • Thanks OP - code is working for me when AmazonGlobal Eligible is selected from the filter options. Picked up a couple of watches which were already on sale.

    • Which ones? Just for interest sake…I have my eye on a couple as well.

      • Got the Marc Ecko Men's E09512G1, and a couple of the Swiss Legend Stainless Steel one's. Nothing too fancy, just some cheap basics.

      • This is a great deal for a Japanese Auto from a respected Watchmaker http://www.amazon.com/Orient-CEM75001B-Stainless-Steel-Watch… $100 for an automatic (rather than Quartz) watch with 200 m water resistance. Awesome deal, when the watch community hears about this these will sell out. Tempted myself but I have too many watches and am currently selling part of the collection rather than buying more!

  • hurmmm… trying to buy a pair of boots, "sold and shipped by Amazon", selected Amazon Global and still no dice on the code.. any other tips?

    • "The promotion applies only to qualifying items displaying the offer message on their product information pages"

Also remember people spend $150+ on shoes "sold and shipped by Amazon" (& maybe handbags)(don't add other items) and you can still get free shipping to Australia

      • Doh!! thanks, failed to read that fine print :) no score for me then :(

  • awesome… purchased 2 Mizuno shoes with discount … + free shipping…. what a bargain :)

  • Any decent running shoes I can order?

    • I ordered the ASICS Kayano 20. They're about $250 locally, or more recently $170 on sale.

      • i tried to get the black one, it wouldn't allow delivery to Aus

        • I ordered the Lightning/Silver/Royal one a few days ago and it seems to have went through fine. Got shipping confirmation on Tuesday.

I doubt anything has changed since then, but the black one was the only other one that showed it could be shipped to Australia (from the ones I tested out), so it's a bit weird that it's not working.

  • Great catch, got a pair of New Balance Minimus annd MR770 for ~$123 (USD) delivered

  • Thanks worked a treat with a pair of Vivobarefoots!

    • Hihi,

mind sharing tips on sizing?I was reading the reviews on amazon and it sounds like these shoes are on the smaller side? I'm a Birkenstock size 39 (normal fit, not the narrow fit type) if you do know Birkenstock sizing. Thanks!

      • Go about half a size up on the current models. The older ones were spot on for sizing though.

    Bought a pair of Eccos
Instead of cutting and pasting I tried typing the code in and kept getting an error…
    Finally I worked it out,
It is SUMER - not SUMMER!
    D'oh.
Next time I will remember to just cut and paste

  • Not working for a variety of clothes or watches I've tried… any tips?

    • +1

Just asked a rep to do it after order was placed, pretty painless.

  • +1

I am trying to order 2 pairs of Asics Kayano 20 running shoes. On the product page it says "This item ships to Bentley Park, Australia." However when I try to go through checkout I get "This item cannot be shipped to the address you selected. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.". That doesn't make sense. Either an error on the product page or an error in the checkout.

Edit: I am ordering from Amazon Export Sales, Inc.

i encountered the same problem.. it says it's allowed but stumbles at the final hurdle

    • +1

Yeah I had the same for a pair of Salomon XC shoes.

Then the other companies will ship to AUS but they charge like $50 shipping…

      I give up.

  • +1

Yeah amazons only problem is finding out right at the end they won't ship to AUS.

The above suggestion picking amazon global only works, but you seem to miss out on some items that will actually ship to AUS.

  • I tried the code, it wouldn't work. For an order of shoes well over $150 (so free shipping) and all Global Eligible. The rep (Nicola) told me (via Chat) that it only applies to one item, the highest price one. Even though the conditions don't say that. Is that what others found, that it only applies to one item?

    • All's well, I Chatted to another rep and she gave me the 20% off the whole order. She agreed that the conditions didn't say it was only for the highest price item. My faith in Amazon has been somewhat restored.

    • Does amazon have a live chat feature?

  • +1

I had similar troubles with this code, though following Tgirl above, when chatting with Amazon's customer service online they've offered me a 20% refund on my order, which I've now placed. They were good to deal with via the chat system.

It seems certain items won't ship to AU for legal reasons, even though it says on the product page 'ships to Sydney'…

    • I don't think that's entirely correct re not shipping to Aus. I think its more an issue on Amazon's website. For example, I ordered Kayano 20 running shoes in size 10 and it would ship to Australia and checkout correctly. However, when I tried to order a size 10.5 from the same product page and from the same seller (Amazon). It said it would not ship to Australia. So Amazon are prepared to ship size 10 but not size 10.5. Very odd and likely a website issue. I went ahead and ordered shoes for the family but I spent easily over an hour finding the right shoe/size that would ship to Aus.
