Recently on posts for comiXology, there has been some people raise concern for offline availability of their comics, particularly if the company goes belly up.
today at San Francisco ComiCon, they announced a new feature, 'my backups'. Any comics from the following publishers can be downloaded in PDF or CBZ formats from the 'My Account' section of the site. Participating publishers include;
Image, Dynamite, Top Shelf, Zenescope, Monkeybrain and Thrillbent.
it would be nice to see the Big 2, but Image makes up a large portion of my collection, and now i can now read them on my Windows Phone, so I'm happy with that.
Would be nice if you could bulk download by series or publisher as well as by issue.
