Be nicer deal if it was the Minix A2 Airmouse.. :)

A similar percentage discount on a MINIX NEO X8-H + A2 Airmouse (AU Standard) combo, and I'd be all over this deal.

      • Was just trying to figure out if it worked on the X8-H - though couldn't see where to enter the coupon…
Definitely in for a couple of units if it applies to the X8-H !!

+1 will get one if discount apply to the X8-H model.

        • Hi, enter the coupon after you go to Secure Checkout. The coupon code is only valid for X8.

        +1 for MINIX NEO X8-H + A2 $129.99 Shipped

Hahaha, come on PW, that's just being cheap. Though, this is OzB.

I would be happy with a shipped price of US$145-$150 for the MINIX NEO X8-H + A2 (AU standard)combo.

Mate, the NEO X8-H + A2 doesn't cost more than $70 to make in China. So $130 is a pretty good offer.

        • So an upgrade on the player and remote shouldn't command a higher price?

Tmart's non-discounted price for the X8-H+A2 is US$234.91. Compared to the X8+A1 price of US$208.49. That's only a difference of US$26.42. My suggested 'discounted' price came to a difference of between US$15 to US$20.

Yet you state US$70. OK. And anyway, the associated manufacturing costs between the different models are irrelevant. If, indeed, there is an inflated price difference between the models (which I am sure there is), that is Minix's and Tmart's prerogative.

If you're happy to pay the asking price which is $202 then go ahead because no one is holding you back. I'm pretty sure many people on this site would to like get the lowest price possible.

        • Where did I state this?

However, I did post, that I would be happy with a shipped price of US$145-$150.

You're the one who believes that an upgrade of player and remote should cost only 1 cent more.

        • Nice find Jominix.

However , I prefer the qwerty keypad of the A2

    4K UHD?
    Output Resolution:1080P?

    conflict title and description?

    • They are not conflict. It supports 720p, 1080p and at most 4k UHD.

      • Hi rep, please clarify. Is this unit actually outputting 4k resolution or is it only capable of turning 4k videos into 1080p and outputting them at 1080p?

        • HI, the output can be 720p, 1080p and 4k.

  • Is this better than the cheaper MXIII?

  • Does this work similar to boxee box in that it will collect all the thumbnail IMDB and synopsis and make it all nice for my movie and tv collection I have on my NAS?

PS: could you use a Bluetooth or wireless keyboard and mouse and use it to surf the web?

    Thanks.
