(FYI)Below are the comments from other users who bought this headlamp :

User1 comments:—Quick shipping and all 4 work great, can’t beat it for the price.

User 2 comments:—It's a great light for the price. It would be much better with some lower modes and without the ridiculous tactical strobe, though. (The rear red LED also goes into strobe mode. )
Throws like a C8. A little big and heavy for some uses, but good to have in the arsenal for when you need high brightness, throw, or run time.

User 3 :—Head band is kinda tight,Will run it in low mode mostly, heckuva deal

User 4 :— Surprised to find a decent metal reflector in this light. Only problem is extreme hotspot with little spill. Seems to be caused by tall centering ring.

User 5 :—As others mentioned, the hotspot is too tight and bright to use at close range. I simply inserted a piece of paper napkin from the kitchen and screwed it underneath the glass. It doesn’t look good when turned off, but it works. It still has a hotspot now, but it’s only slightly brighter than the rest of the beam, and I think I like the fact that it still has a brighter centre spot. OK it might not be perfect, but for this price, it’s really worth every penny as long as it lasts.

User 6 : Today I received mine. Love it for money!

Hope ozbargainers enjoy this deal , MyLED appreciate you guys support and help .

    • hi bahoogas,

from June , we have used EUB shipping to AU which takes 7-15 days

      • Hi Rep - Can you use AA batteries instead of 18650 ?

        • they have 2 18650’s parallel at 4.2 volts. no for AA batteries available .Thx for your asking

        • Are those batteries available in non rechargable? why have I never heard of these before?!

        • +6

@hamwhisperer: maybe you spent too much time at the deli section..

        • +2

          @hamwhisperer:

18650 are proper high power flashlight batteries, they are only available as rechargeable.

        • @m9: I don't get it :(

        • Is a dedicated 18650 battery charger required? Where is the best place to purchase reliable discounted batteries?

        • +1

          @hamwhisperer: Your username bro.

        • @bluetongue:

Holding out too for an answer before purchasing.

Edit: looks like you do need a dedicated charger https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/91418

  • I must say my experience with these guys has been positive, shipping has been on the slow side at times but not as slow as some other sellers, i did receive one led light that was DOA, contacted them and they refunded my money in a timely manner without fuss.

  • Worth a crack at that price, I've got a cheap nasty $20 one from about 9 years ago and it uses regular old school round LED's - it's very "green" and not particularly bright.

  • +2

Ordered one. Will be interesting to see how your new delivery system works.

BTW - You should adjust the price to reflect its AUD $7.38.

  • Cree sounds good, but has it got bright +multi mode +zoom

    Seems like
@$7.37AU I could reserve my rights to feedback.ebay too.

  • Yeah, it's certainly more than $6.50 delivered..
Although I got it for $7.09 - Strange that it varies.. (refer to 'ticket65')

  • Hi Rep, I want one but still holding because I have neither of this special type battery or charger. Can you work out a bundle deal for all required items?

    • +1 battery bundle please.

  • I have one and have just ordered another two for my three heads :-/ They are fantastic for running around in roofspaces. Mine is a bit flaky in half output mode with the driver cutting out. There is a DC jack in my battery pack for charging but I wouldn't trust that method and I opted for a Nitecore I4 http://www.banggood.com/NITECORE-Intellicharger-I4-NEW-Versi…

  • Will it work with 4x18650 battery pack?

    • +1

As long as all the batteries are wired in parallel, putting out 3.7-4.2V. You should get approximately double the run time.

      • A have a similar light with 4-battery pack. The light itself died, but the batteries seem to be ok. So I was looking for a cheap replacement. Are those lights the same? Or there may be a version for double voltage?

        • +1

Can you find a link to the product? Or do you have any more information about it?

Some lights, such as bright bike lights, use 4 batteries for 12v - a battery pack for one of them wouldn't work with this.

  • I have ordered from myLED and what a dispointment.

I am putting 2nd chance to redeem yourself.

    onmy time will tell.

Ive ordere 2 and see if this order arrive in time.

    thank you.

  • I click the "go to deal" button and it comes up with $12++ and postage?? How do I get the $6.50 deal?

    • +1

pls use the coupon code :midyearbest as the deal mentioned

  • Ok thanks that worked.

  • +1

Ordered 3 of these and they arrived today, pretty decent shipping time given past problems.

    • thank you

  • +1

Was surprised to see mine in letterbox yesterday, arrived a lot sooner than i expected, not a bad headlamp for the $ paid

    • thank you

  • so it finally arrived to find out it takes Battery 18650.

so where can I get this Battery 18650?

    • Have a look at buyincoins or dealextreme, places like that. Don't forget that you'll also need a charger.
