How easy is the CW pricematch process? If I show them the priceline prices on my smartphone, would they argue it is online only? Unfortunately the 40% off banner on Priceline doesn't say in store and online (even though the offer is for both).
Just went to CW in Glen Waverley and showed them the priceline docket on Cetaphil. But the manager refused to price match, not to mention beat it by 10%.
That seems directly against company policy. You could try giving head office a call on 03 9462 9111.
Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse have a similar guarantee to match + 10% off the difference. I claimed it today on some baby formula. The funny thing is that I normally buy from them as they had offered the lowest price by 1 cent on that formula but noticed the price had increased by a dollar today.

Got a pricematch at CW Eastwood, I was in a hurry and forgot to ask about the extra 10% off. I showed the lady serving me the price on my smartphone, she didn't say a word, didn't look too pleased but matched the priceline price.
At Priceline Bourke St Mall Melbourne if you spend over $100 on the 40% off products you get a free goodie bag that includes generous sample packs of hair and skin care and a couple of full sized skin care products too.
Arhh, just spent $200+ online for the 7.7% cash rewards, not sure I will get it anyway.

Went to Chemist warehouse in Fairfield, and only been told by staff that they only price match on RRP. Besides, the price offer is below their cost price, so they can't price match (well, maybe they should get a better merchanise manager). What a joke!!! There was a lot of ppl lining up, so didn't want to make a scene and argue with her. Anyway, i did show her the lowest price guarantee on their website, she said that's for price matching with RRP only. I pointed out to her that even CW prices are not RRP. So their lowest price guarantee is an empty promise! It's like saying we're lower than any RRP. If any sale prices are lower than us, we don't care.
That's pretty crazy.
I got price matched a few times in my two local CW stores without drama, however I didn't know the beating policy and things might be different if I raise that up.
After being rejected price match at CW, I wrote a complaint email to CW, stating that:
If Chemist Warehouse is not going to honour the Lowest Prices Guaranteed Policy, please take it down from your website before someone complain to ACCC for false or misleading advertising.
This morning I got a reply from CW:
Thank you for your enquiry, please note you are correct, Chemist Warehouse do match the price, in saying this I have contacted the Glen Waverley store and have confirmed that you will be able to purchase the product and we will match it and give you 10% off the difference! as our Terms and conditions advise.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Hopefully they'll now send a firm directive to all stores.After the comments here I wasn't expecting much, but luckily was served really well at Cheltenham. I took back one I got at full price on Monday, and would have been willing to return it. But they refunded the difference, and I asked if they minded if I got some more and the staff member said go ahead we've got plenty!
