And yet Paramount had brought out the original Startrek tv series filmed decades earlier onto blu-ray as well as bringing Star Trek TNG onto blu-ray. Must be more of a Startrek fan base than Stargate.
But as for Stargate Atlantis that's been out on blu-ray for years. Last year i bought the full blu-ray box set from Amazon.

Not as interested in Atlantis, will buy one day but not in any rush. Would pay any price for SG1 though. Guess I'll have to settle for DVD there.

It's a real shame that (IMO) the best Stargate series only got 2 seasons. I thought Atlantis was a massive turd for the most part, a great idea but poorly written and far too many dull 'filler' episodes.
SG1 was good, but I don't think it was as good as SGU.
Stargate Universe doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as SG1 or Atlantis.
I've got both series of it and even though I love Stargate (one of the best franchises ever between Atlantis and SG1) I have no interest in Universe.
Atlantis did have a few filler episodes but then it got cancelled when it hadn't properly concluded the best story arc.
Nah, SG1 was the best followed by Atlantis and then Universe last. The problem with Universe was that it was boring and had lots of unlikable characters.
I agree with both sides re: Universe. I think 2 seasons was unfair, it needed some time to unravel properly. Had it been given the extra seasons I think it could be been a real contender.
I enjoyed Atlantis/Universe probably equally, they were completely different beasts so it's hard to compare them directly I think.
SG1 left them both in the dust, bar some of the sillyness toward its EOL (it should have ended cleaner, earlier)

You'll find that one from Fishpond is not local stock. You'll find like Mightyape that Fishpond is based and operates out of New Zealand and ships from there. So no not local stock. If you were living in New Zealand it would be local stock.
Even then you have to be careful. Fishpond gets a lot of their stock from Amazon. And they do not always inform you of this, so you need to be careful with voltages and media regions.

I'm sure the ordered items would be getting shipped from New Zealand first before getting to that Queensland based distribution center. If it came from Queensland first then i wouldn't have been waiting well over a week for my deliveries here in central Queensland.
They probably send multiple customer ordered items out in bulk shipments from New Zealand to the Australian based distribution center and then packaging them into individual order parcels like Amazon UK does.

A good price for a fantastic series. If you like sci-fi in any capacity, you won't be disappointed. And you don't need to watch Stargate SG-1 first, either. I started with Atlantis and then went back and still enjoyed both immensely.
Must say, though, I got it for this price delivered two years ago, so it doesn't seem to have gone down in price much.
SG Atlantis is gazillion times better than SG1.
Can't believe you guys are comparing Star Trek to Stargate. Star Trek is a behemoth compared to SG, in USA and internationally.
