Palace Cinemas Brisbane Reduces Ticket Prices - Adults Now $11 - down from $18.50

220

Hey all. Didn't think It would originally fit into the deal category as it will be standard prices from tomorrow but Palace Cinemas have reduced their pricing. Thought I would post anyway. Looks like it's just Brisbane though - Palace Centro and Barracks. The email I just got says:

'We are bringing back the romance of cinema with new admission prices making your movie going experience more affordable. Now you can see so many more films with prices starting from just $7, while still enjoying the quality movie experience you have come to know at Palace Barracks & Centro Cinemas'

They give the new prices on their website, but Adults will be $11 compared to $18.50 today and Senior/Student now $8

Can combine with 2 for 1 palace tickets shopadocket (valid til 7th August). New pricing starts 31 July.

  • Quality cinemas, pity they don't play a wider array of popular movies.

    • Palace Barracks shows more popular, mainstream movies, while Palace Centro shows more limited release stuff.

    • That's what mainstream cinemas do already - mainstream movies. Try finding serious adult movies (not so popular, so in limited release) at most mainstream cinemas.

Am seeing Calvary today, but need to travel 15km past numerous other Event, BCC & Greater Union to see it in a mainstream cinema (Chermside or Indooroopilly). Showing at Palace & Cineplex - which are my usual choices, but still have a few free tickets to mainstream cinemas!

Yay! finally can get away from all those kids and families that go to Event and Cineplex!!

    • Kids and families go to Palace too.

      • Luckily, rarely to the more serious adult movies.

Still not as cheap as Cineplex

      • With the 2-for-1 shopadocket or entertainment book (which applies because this is permanent pricing!), it is cheaper.
2 Adult tickets for $5.50 each. 2 Student tickets for $4 each.

If the 2-for-1 works with Movie Club, you could get $4 Adult tickets too.

  • Thanks for the heads up!

  • Up vote for the heads up from OP, and Palace Cinemas for listening to their customers, and taking a stance. Hopefully everyone on Brissy can show their support (the key to this being its a ongoing price, not some stupid once in a blue moon discount).

No doubt in anticipation of New Farm cinema opening on Friday

  • Thanks OP will try and use this with the Entertainment Book 2 for 1 voucher
