  • damn if only it could fit 17.3 laptops

  • Rain hits it, boom. A walking execution.

    • It's entirely DC power so no, no boom, incredibly difficult to even get a small short.

      • Car battery is DC, you can get a boom from that

It's also much larger voltage and amperage potential, although still not enough to kill most people, and it getting damp wouldn't make it explode. If a car battery explodes it's generally be because the chemical reaction it relies on, which this bag doesn't, goes squiffy and builds up excess hydrogen.

So no, car battery no go boom if in rain either.

I've had one of these for about 18 months and love it. Very handy for daily 3 hour train trips.

      And no issues with rain!

Very handy for daily 3 hour train trips.

      Eh ?

Why "Eh?"? Is that a question?

    • daily 3 hours? 1.5 each way? what are you doing………

      • Watching TV on my galaxy note mostly. Hence this is handy if my battery is low.

  • +2

Eh? 90 mins each way to work.

    • Exactly why i said Eh ?

(surprised at the long commute is all)

      nothing personal :)

  • +1

Not sure if this will pass the security check at the airport.

  • Any idea what sort of amperage these put out? My daughter's galaxy note 3 will only charge effectively on 1.5a and above.
